7 Habits to Start in 7 Days to Guarantee a Year of Happiness

In our busy daily lives it’s easy to miss the forest for the trees and completely overlook some of the more obvious activities that can disproportionally affect our happiness levels.  Luckily, we can go off more than just our intuition; there are lots of proven strategies that aim to create the right behavior that leads to a happier life.  Below, we take a look at seven of the more actionable pieces of advice you can start implementing over the next week.

Here is a truth for you to consider. If someone needs to change in order to be a satisfactory match for you, it is telling you that they are not a match for you in this right now moment. You will save yourselves a lot of angst and heartache if you can accept people exactly as they are, and make decisions based on if they are a good energetic match to you, in your truth, as you are.

Some people say, “Well Gabriel, I am confused. They say one thing and they do another.” Dear Ones, people are always showing you who they really are by their actions, and how they make you feel. Does this person make you feel loved? Accepted? Honoured? Nurtured? Cared about? What is the overall essence of this relationship? We are not talking about how they treated you long ago. We are talking about how they treat you right now, in your present reality. If this is not a satisfying union why are you accepting so little for yourself? Do you have to step out of self love to continue on with this relationship?

Do not sacrifice your happiness, your joy, your opportunities, waiting for another to change, Dear Ones, because their souls are experiencing exactly what they need to experience at this time, and there is no telling how long they may wish or need to stay in that experience.

No amount of darkness can survive in a room full of light. However, you can take the light from a single candle and light a room full of darkness. It is this analogy that we can see that light need not be “afraid” of darkness. All the light needs to do is be present and darkness goes fleeing. But what does all this mean for us?

All it takes is a click on to the nightly news to see that there are people who endure terrible things in this world. Wars are being fought, murders are happening, there are people living in poverty and people getting sick with disease. It is no wonder that some people become angered and offended when you suggest to them that only love exists, that darkness and evil are not real and technically everything is God.

Trusting uncertainty sounds paradoxical. Attachment to our identification with the personality makes it feel as though nothing good will come out of our circumstances. The personality has good intent but many of its actions are misguided. A life without self-worth drives it to madness of which it is largely unaware. Failure to embrace what seems like uncertainty, doubt and instability heightens the madness. Acceptance is not always easy, especially at first. However, if we practice trusting uncertainty with the little things in our lives we will be more prepared for the bigger things.

 Every step on the path to spiritual awakening verifies that we are an important part of the universe which is always under construction. Trusting and embracing the constant change is easier said than done. A large part of the personality’s job is to resist change. The desire to fix things according to it’s own idea of perfection causes attachment and frustration. Unconsciously blaming the circumstances and situations of our lives for not making us happy is common. What we really want is to be in union with the source of happiness. The feeling of worth or significance ceases to be a moving target when we realize WE ARE the infinite value which we seek.

The pineal gland, which is a small gland located near the center of your brain, is considered by some to be the gateway to higher levels of consciousness. Anatomically, it functions as the producer of melatonin, and some scientists believe that it also releases Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, during periods of great stress.

Some believe that as we get older, our pineal gland begins to calcify. To be clear, there have been no studies conducted on this matter, so there is no scientific consensus on the matter. But there are ways to prevent calcification apparently.

Cut out the fluoride.

Fluoride is in a bunch of common things, like tap water and toothpaste. To avoid this, purchase fluoride-free toothpaste and properly filter your tap water before drinking it. Do not buy bottled water...

We've talked about the spiral path a lot in these posts to help explain how even though it may seem we are repeating issues and patterns over again, we are not going round in circles. Rather, we are always going higher, gaining new insights and awareness, and travelling deeper, seeing clearer into more aspects of our hidden selves.

Until recently, this has felt much like a never- ending excavation process with us wondering, when will it end? Well, we have finally broken through into a new space as a collective, allowing us a very new experience with our spiral path.

We have become experts at going 'deeper', yet the 'going higher' part seemed to have a cap on it. It was as if we could only see or receive so much, but no more. Or it was easy to feel connected for minutes or hours, but not days or weeks. We discovered and remembered many of energy's natural laws - that we are the creators of our reality, that if you can imagine it, it is possible - but it has been a challenge to remain vigilant over subconscious thoughts and beliefs that have ruled the roost for so long, constantly wanting control over our steering wheel.

2015 has brought with it a massive shift. We have received an upgrade unlike any other so far. We have emerged into a higher level of 'the field' than we have had access to before on this grand a scale when it comes to number of people residing in it.
