Mark Shrime, a Harvard scientist pursuing a PhD in health policy wanted to see just how easy it is to get medical research published in various medical journals. Every day he says he receives at least one request from an open-access medical journal asking to publish his research.
The catch? They only need $500 to publish it.
So Shrime decided to see how easy it would be to public a bogus article. So he made one up using www.randomtextgenerator.com. He titled the article “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs?” and wrote that the authors were Pinkerton A. LeBrain and Orson Welles. The articles subtitle was “The surgical and neoplastic role of cacao extract in breakfast cereals.”
Shrime submitted his bogus article to some 37 journals, and two weeks later, 17 journals had accepted it...

Life takes on a whole new flavor when we empower ourselves and accept responsibility for our actions.
When we learn to make our own choices and face the consequences of those choices, good or bad, we stop looking to others as caretakers or authority figures. We see that regardless of what another person says or does, we really are responsible for what we do.
It’s easy to blame other people for our behavior, and when you think about it, it’s almost preferable. Why take responsibility when we have someone we can blame our behavior or our attitude on? It makes everything easier for us, but it makes things a lot harder for the people we blame.
This is why making our own choices and dealing with the fallout ourselves is so important.
Most of us feel like we’re here to raise the collective vibration (thereby awakening the world) by living in love and embracing our creativity...
We have spoken about switching your focus to start acknowledging and celebrating the many aspects around you that are positive and desired. Such a habit will create deep satisfaction with your circumstances. Now we suggest you take it one step further. We suggest you take the same principles and apply them to yourselves.
Not only have you been conditioned to live life on high alert for what you do not want, you have taken that practice used it against yourselves, as well. Such a practice will ensure you will never feel good enough, and prevent you from feeling the joy and love that comes from true self expression. The amount of negative self talk we see humans direct at themselves is nothing short of complete and utter abuse.
Dear Ones, you are magnificent beings, each and every one of you! We urge you to start seeing that truth. Look at your bodies and celebrate them for being the miraculous systems they truly are. Thank your body for working so tirelessly for you, and for so beautifully and efficiently housing your soul and giving you such a vast array of ways to experience being present on your planet. Acknowledge your hands that caress with care, you hearts that swell with love, your beautiful brains that assess and learn and remember , and all of your amazing senses.
If we do not discover truth on our own, all we have are thoughts and beliefs to live by. When we live by the thoughts and beliefs of others, it is artificial and robotic. We are not real!
Reality is the most intimate discovery of self and existence and requires no guide, teacher or mentor.
We learn reality by being and discovering the reality of our beingness.
Truth is the teacher of oneness and oneness is the truth for all.
Namaste.

The convergence of banking, technology and the occult.
This past week, the world’s vultures – the economic power elite – met in Davos to discuss the maintenance of their global fiat hegemony. Highlights included furthering austerity measures, noting that the serf class can’t expect air conditioning and cars, as well as cheering on the death of privacy through the rise of technocracy.
The degenerate elite, completely out of touch with humanity, resembles the controllers in the Lucas classic, THX 1138, building their own prison destined to entrap their own progeny.
Degenerate elite always end up being their own worst enemy because pride detaches man from reality, which can only be perceived in the truth...

I would like to highlight a new way we can experience very important developmental cycles or stages in our spiritual evolution; the infamous Saturn return.
The Saturn Return is a cycle that we all experience around the age of 29, which lasts for around 2 years. This cycle actually happens in our lives every 29 years, as Saturn literally returns to the same position in our solar system as it was when you were born.
In my view, the Saturn Return has attracted an unfairly bad reputation, commonly labeled as a difficult and challenging time. And to be honest – this is partly true. The Saturn archetype reflects the boundary between the conscious awareness of one’s self and the unconscious...
The human ailment of not being able to accept the ‘other’ spans countries and ideologies alike. To categorize differences under labels such as religion and culture with the assumption that we will all leave each other well alone only seems to exacerbate them, for we will always come up against those who deeply uproot, even threaten our beliefs and attachments to them.
So surely a more healing way then, is to focus on ways to deal with other’s fear and ultimately begin to work on the fear within ourselves. As every traveler will know, these differences inevitably come up when arriving and spending time in a foreign country, and expose just how deep those roots really delve, particularly when those differences are worlds away from our own perceptions. This applies to every country, and can often be called nationalism, or prejudice, but the one thing we can always rely on is that one will always come across it and probably be the target of a fair few assumptions and harmful stereotypes that the people throw our way.
If you do not understand a situation or experience; stop, take time to center yourself and listen. The answer is always there and, often times, in the most simple form. ~ Creator
