Consumers who simply glance at labels before they toss food into their grocery carts may not be eating what they think they are. The purpose of the food label is to help you make healthy choices so you can eliminate toxins and still eat the foods you enjoy. If you get in the habit of reading and understanding food labels, you are on your way to a healthy diet and good foundation in preventing disease. The problem is, they only tell half the story.

Food labels say how many calories a food contains. But what they don’t say is that how many calories you actually get out of your food depends on how highly processed it is.

“Companies are trying to reposition the same old line of processed foods as nutritious and healthy by portraying wholesome ingredients on the fronts of packages, but not really putting those ingredients in any significant quantities in the box,” Bruce Silverglade, Center for Science in the Public Interest’s (CSPI) director of legal affairs stated.

THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL   Humans have been led to believe that money is the root of all evil. Some go further to say that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Yet both are far from the truth, although we do understand the basic underlying message. It is the intention of the uni-verse to allow each soul to love all things, allowing them to be as they are, so loving money is not a bad thing.

However, using money to gain control over another is not a good thing. Spending more time focusing on acquiring money rather than taking care of your personal needs and your loved ones can create an imbalance in your life. Using money to buy the affections of another is a very low density proposition, leading to pain. There are many unhealthy ways a person can be attached to money, but it is not the root of all evil.

Although there are a myriad of causes of evil, we would claim that fear is the root of most evil. Understand that we do not use the term “evil” in our Realms, for we do not judge anything as good or bad. We accept all things as choices or experiences. It is up to the individual to decide which path to choose in each moment of existence. We know that each person will ultimately return to Source, bringing with him/her a wealth of experiences that each can share with the whole.

I am honored to be God. Therefore, I am honored to be you. However you may appear, there is more to you than meets the eye. You are a precious child of Mine, made of Myself, and you are very precious to Me. In fact, I repeat in as many ways as I can think of to say that We are One. There is no separation here.

Then you wonder how it can be that I, if you are indeed I, wander from Myself as it certainly seems to happen in the world.

It is as if I pull the wool over My individual eyes. I, appearing as you, temporarily forget Who I Am. You forget Who You Are. I, God, the erstwhile God, do not dismiss you because of this. I do not oust you from My heart.

You begin to see how all this on Earth is much like a game, yet Who is fooling Whom? This thing with pronouns is that I can hardly keep them straight. You, I, in Truth are One. For the sake of clarity in this game, We say you, and We say I. We talk as if, as if We were two or more. We try to keep Our parts straight. It is muddling, isn’t it?

What is not true is confusing. And what is pure Truth may often be beyond your awareness and acceptance. Today you may feel like a miserable character whereas God has to be way far beyond misery. The Truth of you is that you are beyond misery, and yet, while you (really I) are on Earth, you are such a great actor that you fool yourself.

HJ: Transforming self-criticism into self-love is really the only thing you are here to do.  Because it is aligning yourself with the true nature of reality, which IS that you are pure unconditional love at your core.  Because this is the foundational energy of the universe — of all creation — unconditional love.  You have free will and can choose to act and believe in whatever way you choose and so you can choose the path of self-criticism.  But you can also choose to return to love.  And that’s what this article is all about.

Honey is one of my favorite foods. It’s a superfood full of numerous vitamins and minerals and a safer way to sweeten foods and drinks. But did you know that most of the honey you see in the grocery store is treated with a process called “Ultra-Filtration?”

Food Safety News conducted an investigation into the honey you see on the shelves of your grocery store and found that about 76% of honey there was ultra-filtered. Ultra-filtration is a process that filters out irregularities like wax, but it also filters out pollen. Generic brands were the most likely to be ultra-filtered.
