I enjoy walking. I live in a pretty neat neighborhood overall, so I experience some interesting sights, run into people I know, and meet new people too! All the while, I’m actually making myself healthier. It turns out, you don’t have to go into “beast mode” or crossfit until you shit yourself in order to make yourself healthier. Walking helps you:

1. Lose weight. 10,000 steps a day sets off a weight loss chain reaction in your body.
2. Reverse the effects of prolonged sitting. Taking a break from work to walk around for five minutes is profoundly helpful.
3. Lower your breast cancer risk, according to research published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention.
4. Boost the immune system. Perfect for cold and flu season!
5. Ease Fibromyalgia pain...

What does it mean to become more conscious? It is the progressive realization of conscious mastery over your mind.

The challenge is that it takes consciousness to grow consciousness. But you needn’t worry about this because you already have the seed. Think of it like fire. You have a flame, and you want to turn that flame into a huge blaze. How do you do it? You add fuel. The following list includes examples of how you can add fuel to your flame of consciousness to become a raging inferno of consciousness. Well, OK, the analogy sort of falls apart there, but you get the idea.

So here are 10 ways to raise your consciousness:
1. Truth

Truth raises your consciousness. Falsehood lowers it.

Do you have that one person you were once so close to -and for so long -that you are now basically nothing more than strangers with? Maybe you don’t know exactly what happened, as if things drifted slowly and although there is no “bad blood” things just don’t seem to work anymore. Strangers can become best friends just as easily as best friends can become strangers, it’s odd. But why does it happen?

We Change As People

I know I have experienced this a number of times in my life and maybe you have too. We have friends that we just can never picture ourselves not having close to us. We love them, they bond and connect so well with us, they are there for you and you are there for them. Then one day, as if out of nowhere, you realize they simply aren’t a big part of your life anymore.

No one remembers one’s moment of birth and neither does humanity. The beginning of man on earth is a complete mystery. The present article, however, is not about how man came to be, but about shortly after that. It is about the dawn of humanity, a missing chapter in the human history. This chapter is of a forgotten people that mapped the earth and the sky long before there were ancient Egyptians or Jews. These mysterious first people are not to be confused with Australopithecus, Homo Habilis, or Homo Ergaster. They are, instead, the people remembered by ancients as ‘gods’; the people that first engineered societies leaving baffling traces on earth.
