OVERCOMING OBSTACLES   One way to gracefully overcome obstacles is to prepare yourself before you stumble. Many of you stumble over the same rock several times and either are unaware of repeating this pattern or once aware, you decide to take measures so you will not stumble on the rock again. This is the difference between unconscious and conscious living. When you pay attention to what is happening around you, the life you live becomes more meaningful and magical.

Once you are consciously aware of the rock, you come up with solutions to avoid stumbling over it again. In your mind, you see yourself either stepping over the rock or around the rock. Perhaps you choose to move the rock to the side of the path. Maybe you choose to put a colorful flag or sign next to the rock to alert yourself the next time you walk the path. Perhaps you choose to paint the rock a bright color.

Whichever choice you make creates a different impact upon you and the rock. However, the result will be the same; you will break the pattern of stumbling over the rock. You may find that your first choice isn’t effective. Let’s say you chose to place a flag next to the rock, but the wind blew the flag over and you stumbled on the rock again. Simply choose another method until the pattern is broken.

In your heart I abide. I am always right here within your beating heart. You can always find Me here, for, deep within your heart of gold am I.

I am not isolated on top of a mountain. Where I am, are you. We can put it differently and say that wherever you are, am I. It makes no difference how We say it. We do not exist without the other, the so-called other, the so-called other who stands across from Us or above or under the threshold of Our hearts. One heart beats. Is it yours or Mine? Who can tell? You can never figure it out because there is no really separate heart beating in the wilderness somewhere.

If wilderness means without God, then, there is no wilderness. If wilderness means without you, that, also, is not possible. It is not possible, yet the world has perceived it this way. You have been perceived as you alone, you all alone. I am not hidden. From My heart, you are never missing. So what is this hullabaloo? I, God, am never away from you, and you cannot be away from Me except in your awareness. Well, then, get a new awareness.

I look into your eyes, and I see a reflection of Myself. Look into My eyes, and you will see a reflection of your Self. You need look no further. This is it. There is no solitary. There is no aloneness. It is a myth that perpetuates a search for Me when I am already stationed in your heart. Look no further. I am your Innermost Being. I never left your heart, nor yours Mine, the One Heart.

What a cool week in the transits. Mars moves into Aquarius. Now Mars and Uranus are in each other’s signs! Although the two so pronounced in the heavens together can result in what feels like a roller coaster ride that doesn’t end, a great deal of energy is available for technological breakthroughs and intelligent actions. Saturn, Sun, Pluto, Mars, Neptune, and Uranus are in consecutive signs as well, creating an interesting opportunity to integrate many of the various zodiacal energies into your life.

Aries

December 5 and 6 are good days for pushing forward your personal expansion and growth. This is offset by some potential negatives to be aware of on December 10 and 11; be aware of unpleasant past issues returning to the present. The emotional life is reasonably good on December 5 and 6, and then relatively tense on December 10 and 11. So very much a see-saw week, with the plusses at the beginning of the week. Just for Aries: ample preparation for various contingencies is prudent this week.

Taurus

Bayer’s Liberty Link GMO crops made to withstand glufosinate ammonium (GLA) herbicide are linked directly to autism-like symptoms, according to a new study. Even in low doses, both pre and post-natal exposure to GLA caused symptoms in laboratory mice.

Published in Frontiers of Behavioral Neuroscience, the study outlines how GLA, one of the most widely used herbicides in agriculture is harming neurological health.

Pointing to the findings of previous research linking herbicides and autism, as well as with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, the study explains that pesticide and herbicide exposure weakens the basic structure of the brain.

I talk to people all the time about their fears of being harshly judged. A number of people say that they won’t try anything new unless they’re assured of success, for fear of being criticized for not doing it as well as they “should.” Judgment leaves people feeling so uncomfortable with critical feedback that they reject all of it, even when it’s meant to help them do better.

While it’s true that we’re living in a hyper-critical world, where people are free to bash each other online, on TV, on the radio, or in the printed press, it is important to step back and gain some perspective on all the critics out there.

We should remember that there are two types of criticism: constructive and destructive. Reasonable people who have something of value to tell us will make a point of doing so in a way that we can let in.
