While the oil and gas industry likes to claim that fracking is not an especially water intensive process, a new report has found that there are more than 250 wells across the country that each require anywhere from 10 to 25 million gallons of water.

The American Petroleum Institute suggests that the typical fracked well uses “the equivalent of the volume of three to six Olympic sized swimming pools,” which works out to 2-4 million gallons of water.

But using data reported by the industry itself and available on the FracFocus.org website, Environmental Working Group has determined that there are at least 261 wells in eight states that used an average of 12.7 million gallons of water...

In this article I am going to explore a concept on why I think we are able to feel other people’s emotions or in other words what new agers would call being an Empath.  

 I am going to present coordinating information to support empathy from a scientific-psychic perspective. If you are not familiar with the word Empath, it is a shortened name for being empathetic to an extreme. For example, walking into a room and feeling other people’s emotions or being able to connect to someone else’s emotions with such intensity that it changes your own emotional state. Where empathy is feeling and being able to relate to someone telling a story to you, being an Empath is knowing and feeling the story before someone even shares it with you. A psychic form of connection with your environment and the people around you.

So my theory, you ask?

Are Empaths actually telepathically communicating with others through emotions?

In Oneness, We are. We are never separated, and you are never alone. In ignorance, however, so fraught with fear and other sundries, you may feel and think you are alone on Planet Earth, as if stranded here on a deserted island. Here you are, a Great Being unaware of your Greatness.

This sense of loneliness applies to the Big Timers and the two-bit Timers. It applies to those seen as the Highest in the Land and to those who are seen as the Lowest of the Low. This applies to those people you have difficulty seeing as even human because of their disparate views of the world and their actions in it. There are those whose perceived light may be dim, yet they are still made of light. Somehow, beloveds, understanding or believing this or not, it is for you to shine your Lighted Love on all.

Those who seem so apart from you may well need your love the most of all. If you do not like their deeds or thoughts, then show them your good deeds and thoughts.

What does it cost you to love even the unlovable?

Perhaps you can consider perceived bad guys as wild beasts who have lived in a jungle all their lives and do not know what domestication is. Perhaps you were born in a settled place where you did not see a need to act so roughly and without feeling.

Do you blame a tiger for being a ferocious tiger ready to bite you any more than you blame a playful puppy for running up to you? Yet even playful puppies have been mercilessly trained to fight.

If there’s one thing we all want, it’s to feel loved.

We want to feel deeply connected to other people, fully seen and appreciated by them, and secure in those relationships.

We can have a million and one acquaintances online, but if none of our connections feel intimate and meaningful, we will ultimately feel alone.

There’s actually some interesting research that shows we tend to value physical possessions less when we feel loved and accepted by others, because relationships can provide a sense of comfort, insurance, and protection. They truly are the most valuable things in our lives.

There is a good reason that Kellogg’s spent over $1,012,552 on media propaganda in California & Washington to defeat voter ballot initiatives that would have required the labeling of GMO foods, and now are contributing again to the defeat of labeling initiatives in Oregon (contributing $250,000).

A consumer recently sent a box of Froot Loops to a lab for genetic testing and found that the corn and soy used in the cereal are 100% RoundUp Ready GMO. So is the sugar. Never mind the other toxic ingredients in the cereal. This means that in one box of Kellogg’s cereal (and likely all their cereals contain similar GMO products), you are dining on a double dose of glyphosate and Bt toxins – glyphosate being patented as an ‘antibiotic’ by Monsanto in 2011.

Nick Hanauer is rich. He’s an unrepentant capitalist and he’s not ashamed to tell you so. But at the same time, he has unconventional opinions for a rich guy: he wants to raise the minimum wage.

Hanauer argues that growing inequality is pushing our society to the brink, and the conditions resemble pre-revolutionary France. I don’t think his assessment is incorrect. In Los Angeles, the minimum wage is $9. Anyone in LA can tell you that $9 an hour is absolutely nowhere near enough to get by. And what our economy needs isn’t just more people who are able to get by, but more people who can get by and buy.

We can argue all day about what type of economy would best serve the people; all people, wealthy, middle class, and poor. But when it comes to the economic system we have now, consumer spending is what powers this system. If the consumers can’t spend, producers can’t produce. It’s as easy as that.

As Hanauer says in Robert Reich’s documentary, Inequality for All, a billionaire will only go out to eat so many times. He only owns so many pillows. So many pairs of jeans. Consolidating wealth doesn’t create jobs and it doesn’t power economic activity.
