1. The need to believe your reality

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, think about your feet on the floor, the sounds in the room, the sounds outside, sitting here reading this page… everything you can perceive right now is a thought.

Is this at first hard to accept? Run with it for a moment…

The need to believe your reality may be restricting your reality, and when our minds are full there is little room for anything else.

From the moment we are born we take in a colossal amount of experience. The outside world is reality and we assume that what we experience is real because, well, of course it’s real. By the time we reach middle age we are chock full of ideas, beliefs and perceptions. Not only about ourselves, but the whole world around us.

The good news is that if you are upholding a false reality in thought, it can be let go of. While this is somewhat easy with our conscious thoughts, it is far less obvious embedded within the countless observations we have collated over the course of our lifetime.

Belief, by it’s very nature, is an after-affect of perception, not a precursor.

What would happen if the government came out and acknowledged that extra-terrestrials are operating here on planet Earth? Would society break down and come to a screeching halt overnight, or would things pretty much just carry on, business as usual, with everyone showing up for work on time the day after the announcement?

What would happen to our so-called democracy if the government publicly admitted that the military had fallen under the control of an unaccountable shadowy cabal, who possesses advanced alien technologies? Would people still turn out to vote?

In a recent interview, Apollo 14 astronaut and founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Dr. Edgar Mitchell again gave his remarks on these topics, something he has been doing publicly for a number of years now.

There is no spirituality, only our consciousness and awareness within it.

Spirituality is a term created by mind and imagination in an attempt to explain phenomena experienced within the imagination and unconscious. It is a clever distraction from the truth within our being.

Ego and Mind create the distraction of spirituality, so we become lost in imagination and fail to investigate our feelings. It is the old peanut shell game of distraction, where our attention becomes lost in the shuffling of the peanut shells.

Truth is a simple recognition within ourselves of the nature of consciousness and our identity within it. This is our truth.

THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE Try placing on a garment that is several sizes too small. You will feel very uncomfortable and eventually lose energy as the flow of blood is restricted. This is what happens on an energetic level when you restrict your energy flow by holding onto fears and old belief codes. Once you release constricting fears and belief codes, the energy flows freely, allowing you to think more clearly and to make more creative and healthy choices.

Belief codes are set up in moments that are emotionally charged. The event could be positive or negative. Most codes are created without the person being consciously aware that this is occurring. You begin to live your life as though this is a reality. With the universal law of attraction, what you believe, you create.

It can be very difficult to break belief codes, for in so doing you will have to accept responsibility for setting up the codes in the first place. You will also have to release any thoughts of being a victim and give up retelling your stories. It will take effort to change the behaviors and habits you have adopted. It will also take courage to replace your old beliefs with new beliefs, for you risk losing friends and making extreme life changes.

How do you move beyond limiting belief codes? One way is to look at an area of your life where you feel dissatisfied. Perhaps it is the way you react to others or a habit you would like to change. Choose one aspect you would like to change. Take a few moments to focus on what generally triggers this behavior.

1. Changing sleep patterns: restlessness, hot feet, waking up two or three times a night.
Feeling tired after you wake up and sleepy off and on during the day. There is something called the Triad Sleep Pattern that occurs for many: you sleep for about 2-3 hours, wake up, go back to sleep for another couple of hours, wake again, and go back to sleep again. For others, the sleep requirements have changed. You can get by on less sleep. It feels good, but it keeps me awake for a long time, then subsides. Advice: Get used to it. Make peace with it and don’t worry about getting enough sleep (which often causes more insomnia). You will be able to make it through the day if you hold thoughts of getting just what you need. You can also request your Higher Self to give you a break now and then and give you a good, deep night’s sleep. If you can’t go back to sleep right away, use the waking moments to meditate, read poetry, write in your journal or look at the moon. Your body will adjust to the new pattern.

2. Activity at the crown of the head: Tingling, itching, prickly, crawling sensations along the scalp and/or down the spine...

In the world, there are the directions of north, south, east, west and all the subdivisions in between. Depending upon where you stand, you see a different view. The sun is in a different place, and you see from one angle. And this is how life appears to you dependent upon where you stand. Where you stand, your eyes see from and your ears hear from. Seen from the east, you have one view. Stand on your head, you have another view. Stand from any of the directions, you have a different view. We could say you are biased, based on the view you see from. Turn around, and you see differently, perhaps even oppositely. Don’t make up your mind and hold fast to it. Be open-minded. Where did you get the idea that you are to hold fast to what you already know and is now behind you?

When you stand in a mud puddle, you may feel uncomfortable. When you stand in the Ocean, you are exhilarated and want more. When you stand in the Ocean of True Life, Life Deep in Truth with Me, God, you are in Infinity. You do not age. There is much less wear and tear on you. In any case, from My vantage, aging is a lovely thing. Aging pins medals on you. You continue to climb a mountain to the top. You keep climbing.

In so many ways, I tell you that life in the world is not marked in stone. Nor is your view closed shut. Your opinions are not absolutes. Even as you hold your opinions tightly in your fist, they fade, they change, they grow. Renovate your opinions.
