The one thing all these foods have in common is that you should be eating them anyway, but if you’ve been especially hard on your body, it might be time to add some of these to your diet. Your liver works hard, day in and day out, to clean our blood of the nasty-business we sometimes put into our bodies. It’s a natural detoxification system, but sometimes, even your filters need a cleaning.
A majority of these foods have glutathione, which is a protein that helps clean your body of toxic junk. In general, do your best to eat these foods raw.
Know how beautiful you truly are, and you will know happiness every day of your life. Any dissatisfaction you have in life is based on your appraisal of yourself. Yes, matters in the world take place and irritate, yet your irritation is with yourself and not so much with life and others as you like to believe. You are quick to pounce on someone or something else as the source of your irritation when someone or something else reminds you of your own mis-perceived inadequacy.
Something or another in the relative world is awry at one time or another, no doubt about that. Someone or something will offend you or drive you to distraction. Nevertheless, if you were not so hard on yourself, you wouldn’t take life as seriously as you do. You would not take it seriously at all.
You have a wounded picture of yourself. When someone else makes a mistake, their mistake is like salt on your wound. With your irritation with others, you are really saying:
“Don’t remind me ever again, not even once more, of my human frailty. For this reason, I pounce on you and can’t tolerate your inability to be perfect. I cannot tolerate my own errors, and, therefore, I absolutely can’t tolerate yours. I cannot tolerate anyone’s errors. It is automatic for me to want perfection from you, and I respond automatically when you reveal any dimension of imperfection. The more imperfect I perceive myself, the angrier I become with you. I like to believe that it is you who causes me grief when I am the cause, the one and only.
A Mexican judge in the state of Yucatan has recalled a permit from Monsanto, the biotech giant, forbidding the company from planting Roundup-ready GMO soybeans. His decision was based on scientific evidence that lead GMO soybeans to declines in be populations.
As The Guardian reports, the permit originally allowed Monsanto to plant 625,000 acres of GMO soybeans in seven states. Local Mayan farmers and beekeepers protested in the thousands against the move, but were largely ignored. Which is ridiculous when you consider that honeybees are crucial to the Mexican economy, where 25,000 families depend on honey production for income.

It’s no secret that factory farmed animals are fed antibiotics. Some 80% of antibiotics made in the United States are fed to cattle, all the while millions of low income Americans struggle to get medical care. Aside from the potentially devastating impact that a ‘super bug,’ or antibiotic resistant bacteria might have on the planet, new research shows that antibiotic use in farming is related to the steep rise in food allergies.

The UN’s Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food is insisting that our current methods of agriculture are reaping dangerous effects on our global food supply, and that small farmers and agroecological farming methods are the key to the future of farming. Or at least that’s the opinion of Professor Hilal Elver.
“Food policies which do not address the root causes of world hunger would be bound to fail, she said to an audience in Amsterdam. “The 2009 global food crisis signaled the need for a turning point in the global food system. Modern agriculture, which began in the 1950′s, is more resource intensive, very fossil fuel dependent, using fertilizers, and based on massive production. This policy has to change.”
