Simplify, And Savor Life

These days we have an abundance of luxuries, but I’ve found that excess actually decreases my enjoyment of life.

Sure, we can get massive amounts of rich foods, feasting to our heart’s content, stuffing ourselves in alarming displays of gluttony… but is that really enjoyable on a regular basis?

And yes, television can be fun, and so can ridiculously large parts of the Internet, but if it’s always on, if we’re always connected, doesn’t that lower the fun factor?

Excesses lead to all kinds of problems, but the biggest problem is that life is less enjoyable.

I’ve been finding that simplifying things means I can savor life more fully.

Savoring life starts with a mindset. It’s a mindset that believes that excess, that rushing, that busy-ness, that distracted-ness, isn’t ideal. It’s a mindset that tries instead to:

So what is it that we believe? I believe in One God, the Indivisible Flowing Wholeness of Universal I AM, in which there are Eternal and Infinite unique expressions of that One Divine Presence. I believe in One Humanity, the Indivisible Flowing Wholeness of our Coherently Connected Divine Consciousness, in which there are endless Perfect Expressions of that One Divine Presence, the I AM Race. 

(editor's note: One of the best pieces of sage advice I ever got came (surprisingly) from the Company Commander back in my Army days of the 1980s. He told me, "You're either part of the problem, or part of the solution." This forever changed how I viewed my position in life and put an end to any feelings of victimization that have ever tried to surface.

(editor's note: The name, Calendula (Calendula officinalis) comes from the Latin "the first day of the month," and refers to it's long blooming season (May through November). It is also sometimes called the pot marigold and is different from the smaller ornamental marigold (Tagetes). It's aromatic fragrance is the active ingredient useful for minor burns and skin wounds.

As more people awaken to the illusion of "modern" medicine they are moving away from pharmaceuticals and treatments that are in dis-harmony with our higher vibrations.
