In two related stories, we'll explore the potential for gold to assist in the applications of memory and energy storage and the emerging field of plasmonics. Using graphene, scientists have invented a lightweight and flexible material that can conduct electricity. Wearable electronic devices just got a big leap forward!

Whiz Kids: 5 Amazing Young Inventors

Here are the stories of four young inventors who have already made their mark on the world, and one who hopes to in the years to come.

(editor's note: Today we'll celebrate a school garden in D.C., learn more about safety and early detection from the healing rumblings of Mexico's "Popo" volcano, and then examine energy storage innovations in the fast-growing Canadian wind power movement. Finally, I'll close with an Oliver Shanti video titled, "Medicine Power".

Rather than become disheartened by the negative news of mainstream media, I challenge you to look deeper -to find healing earth heroes in your own community. There are people all over this beautiful jewel we call Gaia working every day to correct the damage we have done. A School Garden Blooms for Earth Day

In time, the science of light and sound will advance so that we can update our medical centers, similar to those used on our Healing Ships.
Awakening within us all is the ability to completely heal ourselves.

Siberian ginseng

You can buy a ginseng preparation (eleutherococcus) at a health food store. Take it as directed for three weeks in the spring and fall before the "cold season" to strengthen your immunity. If you can't find ginseng, echinacia will have a similar effect on the body.
