Now more than ever before our society is seeing the need to take matters into our own hands and not rely on others to get the job done for us. The topic of un-schooling has become quite popular and with good reason.

According to Wikipedia:

“Unschooling is an educational method and philosophy that advocates learner-chosen activities as a primary means for learning. Unschooling students learn through their natural life experiences including play, household responsibilities, personal interests and curiosity, internships and work experience, travel, books, elective classes, family, mentors, and social interaction. Unschooling encourages exploration of activities initiated by the children themselves, believing that the most personal learning is, the more meaningful, well-understood and, therefore, useful it is to the child. While courses may occasionally be taken, unschooling questions the usefulness of standard curricula, conventional grading methods, and other features of traditional schooling in the education of each unique child.”

I couldn’t agree more. It’s about taking the reigns in our children’s education to ensure that they are not just getting a good one but they have the opportunity to see the great joy of learning. After six years of leaving it up to the system, my son lost that great joy.

A lot of enlightening human beings wish to move away from the habit of judgment but don’t really know how to do it. It is simple, Dear Ones! When you observe others, rather than focusing on how they are different from you, seek to find the traits you share. From there you will find it much easier to practice acceptance and inclusion. ~Archangel Gabriel

“He can’t do this to me. He has no right.” That’s just how the offender is thinking. You meant no harm to him. You were innocent. Now he is defending his lack of thoughtfulness, and you, My beloved, may be catching right up to him.

You are thinking: “How dare he treat me like this? I am a good person. No one has the right to treat me this way.”

My darling child; the path of upward mobility may not always be easy.  You knew this before you even arrived here, yet you chose to come anyway.  The Universe was so proud of your decision!  There were times where you may have felt there was no one there to help…..and that was part of the plan as well.  Advanced souls do not advance without learning to do some things on their own.  (Smiling)  The only thing that is asked of you is to grow and keep growing.  When you reach a ‘dead spot’, remember that is your turn (and time) to show a little independence and practice what you have learned so far.  Never fear, you are doing wonderfully!
