Releasing your attachment to how things should look or be is one of the most helpful things you can do in your enlightenment process.

When you become attached to an outcome, you can become resistant to any other potential. This can be extremely limiting to you, as the universe and your highest self often have a far grander plan than you could ever imagine for yourself.

The problem with becoming rigidly opposed to anything other than your plan is that, in itself, creates a resistance to the flow. Surrender and flow are, of course, the means to your next greatest creations.

New rules implemented by the European Union now allow individual member states to block farmers from using GM organisms, even if the variety has been approved on an EU-wide basis. As TrueActivist shared before, Scotland was quick to take up that opportunity.

To “preserve the country’s clean and green brand,” Scotland chose to ‘opt out’ of growing GMO crops. And now, Germany is following suit.

As Independent.UK reports, Germany has begun taking the steps necessary to ban the use of all genetically modified (GM) crops.

As the public becomes increasingly more educated on topics concerning health and sustainability, more and more people are beginning to take action by choosing to consume more natural, wholesomely produced food.

But as the US government has operated largely by giving farmers subsidies to grow genetically engineered crops – most of which is used to support animal agriculture – it is now in a tough spot of striving to meet consumer demand for organic produce and keep the old system afloat.

As evident in Bloomberg’s recent report, big shifts are underway:

“Most of the corn and soybean shipments become feed for chickens and cows so they can be certified organic under U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. Organic poultry and dairy operators shun feed made from Monsanto Co. and other domestic suppliers in favor of foreign products even as the U.S. remains the world’s top grower of corn and soybeans. As a result, importance to the United States of Romanian corn rose to $11.6 million in 2014 from $545,000 the year before. Soybean imports from India more than doubled to $73.8 million.”

Note that avocado trees generally do best in places with mild winters. A green house may be needed for them to produce in colder climates.
