In 2003, Glasgow based documentary filmmaker David Graham Scott underwent ibogaine treatment for his long-term opiate addiction. After a single session at a London clinic, the director managed to put an end to his drug dependency. The experience is documented in his autobiographical 2004 film Detox or Die. This year, Scott returns with a follow-up. Although his new film, Iboga Nights, shows that iboga is far from a magic bullet for treating addiction, it does show that the psychedelic still has a great potential of becoming an acknowledged addiction interrupter.

During the three years it took to make the film, David Graham Scott followed various opiate addicts and iboga providers. He travelled to the Netherlands to witness treatments conducted by an experienced iboga therapist –– one of which had a very dramatic outcome –– as well as stepping in as a provider for a young musician named Sid during his treatment in his home in London. Besides conceiving the idea for the documentary, Scott also acted as cameraman, director and producer.

The first thing to do is to create room for them. They will not enter unless you attune yourself to their presence in your life.

Second, and it can sound awfully clicheish, but it can only sound that way because there are a lot of clichés surrounding the Angelic – it’s all about Heart! So the more we adjust and can hold on to the Heart in us, we will align our self with the Angelic realm.

The Heart isn’t sticky. The heart isn’t sentimental. That is solar-plexus energy. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn’t correspond with the Angelic Vibe.

When we are asked what we find the most important thing in our life, the most of us would be able to answer the question. We would, naturally, come up with different answers, but that is not the point; the point is that we are able to answer. But as long as we are able to answer, we remain detached from the higher levels of Consciousness. How is that possible?

The Nature of Higher Consciousness

If we wish to find out how that is possible, we must first examine the nature of higher Consciousness. A number of people have experienced those higher levels, and there are thousands of reports about that state of Consciousness.

Still, if we penetrate deep into that experience, we find that no higher levels of Consciousness exist, only Consciousness itself. That Consciousness has only two states that we are able to experience: one identified with various forms and shapes, and one that is free of forms and shapes.

One of the most empowering shifts you can make as a human being is to consciously move your focus from absence to presence. When you begin to choose to see the many ways what is wanted is already present in your life, you begin to settle into the idea that you are always provided for and supported by a loving universe.

But beyond that, it is the discovery of the presence of the divinity that has always been inside you that will bring the most profound healing of all, for it will allow you to finally see beyond the illusions of separation, abandonment, victim consciousness, and the idea that you are in any way not enough. You will finally recognize your permanent connection to all that is, and your innate ability to choose from that empowered place of endless possibility, potential and experience. ~Archangel Gabriel

How many of you are the different one in your family? That’s one of my signature questions I often ask the audience at my lectures and demonstrations. As soon as I ask the question, a sea of hands appear, with the majority of the audience shaking their heads in agreement.

But, what do I truly mean by different? Let me try to explain. If you’re the type of person who constantly questions if there’s more to life than what appears to be directly in front of you, then you’re a little different than the norm. It may be that you’ve had your own spiritual experiences, and you’re now drawn to metaphysics, new age, or just have a keen interest in psychic phenomenon. Equally it may be that you know your soul is reaching out for you to follow its guidance. If you’re experiencing or feeling these things, it’s a good indicator that you’re like me – one of the “different ones.”

God said:

You do not want to be beside yourself on Earth. Beside yourself, you are distraught. You want to be beyond your small self. Yes, get beyond whatever limits you have set for yourself. You can go way beyond yourself into the farther reaches of the Universe.

What can stop you? What can stop you from transcending your outer limits except for timidity, fear, fear of boldness, fear of being disappointed, fear of failing, fear of being ridiculed. Most people mind very much what others think of them. It doesn’t even matter who it is, a stranger on the street, anyone innocently or not so innocently who sets a lesser worth on you. Tell Me, please, what is there you cannot be afraid of when you set your mind to it? What are you afraid of?

Of course, you don’t want to pander your life to anyone, flotsam or jetsam, or anyone notable or worthy. You can love people without having to please them. Consider all the people in the world who have surpassed discouragement, stuck to their guns, and struck a milestone.

Who dares to say to you that you cannot do that which you desire to do?

What is all this that you must have your feet on the ground as the world purports that to be? What a dreary process. You can have your feet on the ground any day of the week. Why limp around when you can fly?

Maybe this is all I want to say today. Maybe this is all that there is to say. Yet I think of something more, yes, for you to take in.
