DAy 34: The Dark Night, Ix 8

THE DARK NIGHT Dark energy patterns do occur in your physical and astral bodies. They are created by your thoughts, words and actions. There is a universal law that “like attracts like.” Light or positive thoughts flow freely in energetic patterns. Dark or negative thoughts glop together like a sticky substance. Be aware of your words.
The first time you say something like, “I am sick and tired,” you have created an energetic pattern. It is considered “negative” because it emits a low frequency thoughtform. The next time you repeat the same words or energy pattern with feeling, this thoughtform will attach itself to the first thoughtform. As time goes on, if the attitude remains the same and the feelings occur repeatedly, this dark glop of energy will continue to grow.
Once imbedded securely, these glops of dark energy become so large, tight and energized that it actually manifests into a physical dis-ease within your body. How to break through these patterns, whether they have already manifested physically or still in your auric field?

Self-Compassion: Tips for Loving Yourself Just as You Are

Do you love yourself just as you are? The way that people answer this question reveals a great deal about their upbringing. Well-loved children absorb from their parents a sense of self-worth that lasts a lifetime. But receiving mixed messages as a child is more common. These messages include the following:
- I love you as long as you love me.
- I love you as long as you are being good.
- I love you as much as you deserve.
- I love you, but don’t ask for too much or you’ll be spoiled.
You may remember such mixed messages from your childhood or not, but they all place conditions on how much parents love their children. Conditioned love is the norm, quite likely, even though unconditional love is the ideal. Can you change your inner image of how much you are loved and lovable? I believe so.
What Does Humble Mean? It Means You Are Open.
God said:
Come to the place where you love yourself. Love yourself as I love you.
I love you. I see the pure light that you are. I love you as Myself. You are Myself.
For you to love yourself doesn’t mean you consider yourself imperious. You don’t see yourself as above others. You are not the Queen of the May. You make mistakes and are not bound by them. You make no excuses. You are Being.
There is no separation between Us, yet there is separation between you and ego. Your ego is an adjunct you do not take seriously. Just when you think you know everything, just when you think you’ve got life down pat, that’s when you are riding for a fall. You no longer swagger.
When you love yourself, you are humble. You see the wondrousness of yourself, yet you are humble. What does humble mean? It means you are open. You are receptive to others. You are aware you still have much to learn. You are not a know-it-all. You know that everyone contains the same spirit as you.
The expertise of life is to love. You come from love. You don’t parade it. You are it. It is the chair you sit in. It is the view you see from. Loving yourself certainly doesn’t mean you are stuck on yourself. You can be awestruck at the wonder of you and the wonder of others and the wonder of God Who created you and everyone and everything, yet you are not exactly in love with yourself. You do not love yourself to distraction.

Young Medical Marijuana Patient: “I’d Rather Be Illegally Alive Than Legally Dead.”

If you don’t believe that there is any value in medical marijuana, as many government officials do, then you’re simply not looking at the mountains of evidence to the contrary.
Last weekend, Coltyn Turner, a fifteen-year-old medical marijuana patient spoke at a symposium on medical marijuana research in Denver. He explained:
“I’d rather be illegally alive than legally dead.”
Turner suffers from Crohns disease, a disease of the digestive system that results in extreme pain, extreme diarrhea, among other devastating symptoms.
“I was just on every pharmaceutical there was out there until I would end up in a wheelchair,” says Turner. Eventually, his mother would turn to CBD oil as her last resort.
Venus Shadow starts today!
Today Venus enters the territory over which she will retrograde as of July 25, heralding the start of the 'Venus shadow' period. Venus Retrogrades happen just under every couple of years, and offer a fabulous opportunity to review, reshuffle, rewire, heal, clear and transform all that is Venusy: love, relationships, self-love, self-value, self-worth, our inner feminine qualities, how we view ourselves and others as women (both individually and collectively), our ability to receive nourishment, nurturing and pleasure, and express ourselves creatively.
Venus is most commonly associated with love, but really she stands for the Feminine, which ultimately affects everything from our relationships to our income, abundance, health, happiness and heart fulfillment.

Solstice Solar Synchronicity

Solar synchronicity - the Solstice has occurred simultaneously to 6 M Class Solar Flares occurring so far, and with each one being stronger than the next more are likely to come.
I have lost count of the amount of times I get a sudden burst of writing energy after a period of relative quiet only to discover that the Sun is erupting high-grade Solar Flares after a relative period of quiet. All this energy can manifest as creative drive, but it can also manifest as anger or irritability arising out of nowhere: liken it to being plugged into an electric socket. It's either going to rev you up in a good way, or short-circuit you for a bit leaving you feeling a bit frayed and on edge.

Overcoming Negative Emotions
“Balance cannot be known unless you taste both extremes. You will dabble, struggle, even suffer until you muster up the the extraordinary courage necessary for embracing all of your humanity.” ~ Amy Larson
Two words that any spiritual seeker is inundated with, no matter what school of thought they are a part of, are “acceptance” and “love”. It doesn’t really matter which spiritual practice we are following or which teacher we are listening to, we are constantly told to accept ourselves as we are, accept others as they are, and unconditionally love everything, including all of our “negative” emotions.
And as simple as many spiritual teachers make it sound, the actual concept of acceptance and love can actually be not only more confusing than it seems, but harder than it looks. How many times on your journey have you told yourself that you can accept that you are angry, let’s say, attempted to love it (in hope of making it go away), and nothing happened?
