Solar energy has come a long way since its invention in the middle of the 20th century. Its efficiency is improving by leaps and bounds and the cost is going down fast. Much to the dismay of fossil fuel peddlers, solar has entered the mainstream and is being applied widely. Nice!

One idea for solar is the solar farm that actually floats on water. One company, Forward Thinking Architecture, thinks we can farm food and energy from the sun on floating installations. Their first project, they estimate, will yield 8,152 tons of vegetables and 1,703 tons of fish per year.

I read an essay on empathy. It certainly has not been something I set out for in my life as a special interest to cultivate, but the more spiritually evolved I become the more empathetic I become. Empathy requires that we reserve judgment. It was a huge moment for me when I realized I could be very disappointed for a person without being disappointed in a person.

When we recognize the part of us that is spirit/high power/God, it makes it impossible not to see the spirit part in others regardless of how at odds it is with the human part at the time. Humans are so messy. Driven by countless fears and an egoic mind set that insist we be right at all times, we are all, ALL of us very hard to love at times. I guess my own definition for empathy is to be willing to see the spirit trying in someone regardless of their circumstance.

So you’ve answered Shakespeare’s question: to be or not to be? What’s next? I hate to break it to you; it only gets harder. Now you must answer an even more daunting question: fight for freedom or fight for empire? It’s a theme that has haunted the human condition since time immemorial. Indeed, a most intimidating mytheme that has both undermined and propelled the evolution of our species at different times in the overall human leitmotif.

Marijuana is the embodiment of the Divine Feminine. Say what? This is what you may say on reading that marijuana embodies divinity at all. However this is my belief, which I will explain. (Of course take my thoughts with a grain of salt. What do I know? I’m just the son of a registered nurse and a farmer.)

The cannabis plant has traditionally been revered, with many useful applications from agricultural to medicinal to spiritual. Providing nutritious food, potent medicine, sustainable fuel, low-impact building material and consciousness expanding herb, cannabis is a nurturer of humanity. It is no wonder the hyper-masculine, partriarchal corporate-government complex has dared to outlaw it.

Plant consciousness is evidenced by the process of bio-communication in plant cells, which means that plants are sentient life forms that feel, know, and are conscious. The scientific field of neurobiology has been effective in demonstrating plant consciousness.

Consciousness exists in everything, but manifests itself in different ways. With the reality that all matter is energy vibrating at different frequencies, it is reasonable to say that all matter has consciousness in its unique way, since all matter comes from the same source and is comprised at its basics level of the same building blocks. This can be seen in DNA consciousness as well. This universal principle is true for any state of energy – be it a solid, liquid, gas or plasma – and manifest as plant, animal, human, crystalline, and higher-dimensional life forms.

It is your own pervasive worthiness issues that cause you to accept so much less than what your true potentials are. These self esteem issues are rooted in old belief systems that were never valid, but designed to control the masses and keep you small and disempowered. You also shy away from claiming your worth because you still buy into the idea that to do so somehow involves taking away from another. Dear Ones, it is time to let these old, tremendously limiting ideas go, once and for all!

There is plenty of room on this planet for you to shine brightly in your most glorious expression of self, not to the detriment of others, but rather for the greatest good of all! Living to your full potential simply means expanding into your highest expression of self in a way that serves the whole (which, of course, includes yourself). It is about moving into fairness, truth, balance, and your own glorious self expression, which honours your soul, your purpose, humanity, and your beloved planet.
