As a former teacher who spent 7 years in the system, one of the things that really bugs me about today’s schools is the undercurrent of fear and control-based social conditioning that they subject our children to. Yes, our children do learn valuable skills and information, but often at the cost of their overall health and prosperity. Our schools, while they do indeed try, ultimately fail to fully harness the power of today’s young minds because they emphasize routine, discipline and testing over exploration, compassion and innovation.

Another problem today in education is that we simply aren’t teaching kids what they really need to know to be successful in life. While it is important to learn basic math, science, and reading to survive in today’s world, it is also important to teach kids how to thrive.

With some slight adjustments, we could quickly start to improve education by adding a few new subjects aimed at helping kids become healthy and successful adults. By teaching students information that will truly benefit them, we could start to transform education (and the world!) in a positive way.

SHINE YOUR LIGHT   Your Spiritual roots are created from pure love. There is nothing in the world that does not come from the inspiration of pure love. We know this is difficult for many to grasp when you look around and see all of the experiences of Not-Love.

We understand that it is hard for you to exist in such a place. As your veils of amnesia lift, it becomes even harder to remain on the Earth. Yet we ask you to have patience, for there is much that you can do to assist with the changes that are currently taking place.

Many Lightworkers have come to the Earth at this time to assist in returning the Earth to her pristine state. Although the Earth was pristine at the time of her original creation, she and her inhabitants are now beginning to vibrate at a much higher frequency. This means that those who cling to lower frequency aspirations will not be able to maintain their goals of Not-Love experiences.

You, as a Lightworker, have the ability to pressure those in leadership positions to make the changes you wish to occur on Earth. There is power in numbers and as you unite with each other, with common goals, your voice will be heard. Many of your industries will crumble overnight if each of you simply says, “No more!” and stop feeding the monster. As you bond together and boycott the industries that are harmful, these corporations will either crumble or scramble to restructure.

In our society today dreams tend be overlooked. Dreams deserve more attention than they currently get because they can reveal to us a great deal about ourselves. Simply paying attention to dreams and analyzing them via a ‘dream journal’ is a good start.

Yet the most rewarding dreams are lucid ones, which are dreams where one is aware that they are dreaming. Few people in this world lucid dream on a regular basis, if at all, but that doesn’t mean that most people aren’t capable of doing so.

Having the ability to lucid dream offers a number of benefits, especially when it comes to reaching your fullest potential in life. Many people face mindsets, emotional trauma, or other hindrances that hold them back. Mastering the art of lucid dreaming can give somebody the ability to achieve their highest aspirations in life by ridding themselves of those things.

I know a lot of folks in D.C. are going to be having all-nighters tonight, because at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, Washington D.C. residents will be free to legally possess and use marijuana. Residents of the district are allowed to have up to two ounces of marijuana, twice as high as Oregon, Colorado, Alaska and Washington.

But the rest of the rules pertaining to legalization are about the same. You can’t use marijuana on federal land or public property. You can grow up to six plants at home, but only three mature at a time. You can also give an ounce of the plant as a gift.

Voters legalized marijuana by the widest margin yet with 64.9% of voters in favor. Unlike the other states, though, D.C. will have fewer regulations beyond those rules...

Recently, bald eagles were reported flying around Staten Island. It may not sound like much, but it’s the first time in over 100 years that the eagles have been seen in the area. It raises hope that New York City may someday be home to bald eagles again.

Bald eagles nearly met their match at the hands of deforestation, hunting, and DDT poisoning. The national symbol of the United States dwindled to only 500 eagle pairs in the lower 48 states by the nation’s 200th birthday. Today, their numbers are ten times higher. In 2007, the bald eagle was de-listed from the government’s Endangered and Threatened Wildlife list.

Even still, the birds aren’t completely out of the woods. DDT is banned in the US now, but other toxins like mercury and lead are fatal to the eagles, even in lower doses...
