During organ transplantation there have been numerous reports of emotions, memories and experiences being transferred along with the organ which is being transplanted, from the donor to the recipient. Dr. Paul Pearsall has collected the cases of 73 heart transplant patients and 67 other organ transplant recipients and published them in his book, “The Hearts Code” (1). Here is a sample of a case that has been reported.

On May 29, 1988, an American woman named Claire Sylvia received a heart transplant at a hospital in Yale, Connecticut. She was told that her donor was an 18 year-old male from Maine who had just died in a motorcycle accident.

I’m reaching a point where I no longer want to pour my faith into any specific belief. Every belief contains its truths and untruths, and like a lot of people have realized, we can take what works for us from each belief and let the rest fall away.

I’ve been writing about open-mindedness lately, and like I said in a recent article, an important part of being open-minded is being diligent enough not to put all our energy and attention into a certain belief just because it’s more appealing than the distorted religions we’ve grown out of.

It’s obvious that contemporary religion’s been distorted to keep us from genuinely understanding spirituality, but we don’t really help ourselves by embracing other philosophies that are more appealing.

We ask you to stop and ponder a few ideas today. What if nothing was ever wrong? What if you let go of the idea of being broke, or alone, or sick? What if you saw each person, no matter what they were doing, as someone who was competently experiencing exactly what they needed to for their own growth and expansion? What if you truly, fully realized that the only thing you ever really have to do is BE?

As you read those ideas, do you have resistance? Feel under that resistance and try on the truth of each statement. How would that change your life? How would you live or behave differently? What would life look like for you if you stopped pushing against all the illusion and embraced your divinity?

If reality is unified, then we must also accept that everything is essentially equal.

Spirituality is a very personal affair regardless of the various pathways that one may take or disciplines that one may adhere to. There are many ways that one may be introduced to this philosophy. We may have been brought up around it via our family. We might have had a profound revelation in a one-off experience. Some are initiated through paranormal activity. Others just intuitively feel it...

The new moon is upon us again.  Within the rhythmic cycles of the grandmother moon, there is a point each month during which the moon is completely hidden, causing it to appear completely dark and invisible from our Earth perspective.  This happens when the moon is in conjunction with the sun.  This is the moon phase referred to as a “New Moon”, after which point the moon is in a waxing period, meaning a phase of becoming progressively more visible leading up to the full moon.

In basically every culture throughout history, great significance is paid to the moon and her phases.  Astrologically speaking, the new moon is associated with intense yin (feminine principle) energy, darkness, introversion, new beginnings, solitude, and intentions.  Within many cultural and religious traditions, new projects are intentionally begun during the period of the new moon.  Whereas the sun and solar energy are bright, visible, warm, penetrating, and ‘male’ or yang polarity, the moon is the great celestial grandmother- cooling, receptive, cleansing, soft, magnetic, and female- associated with water.
