QUIET SUN: With the departure of sunspot AR1654, a new spell of low solar activity is underway. NOAA forecasters put the odds of a strong solar flare today at less than 5%. Solar flare alerts: text, voice.

LUNAR ECLIPSE OF JUPITER: Last night, the Moon passed by Jupiter only a fraction of a degree away. In parts of South America, the close encounter was so close, it became an eclipse. Luis Argerich sends this photo from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

 

"I captured half a Jupiter floating next to the Moon with my telescope as the occultation was in progress," says Argerich. "It was incredible to see Jupiter disappear behind the Moon's dark limb."

Another occultation of Jupiter is less than a month away. The people of southern Australia will see it on Feb. 18th. Meanwhile, browse the photo gallery for more shots of last night's display.

The coming announcements by your new governance will mark the end of a long era of dark control, during which wars, economic upheavals, and other widespread forms of discord characterized the ups and downs of numerous regimes over the course of this old form of governance. It is to be replaced by an interim administration which will prepare the way for a duly elected one and set up new rules and by-laws regarding the general operating standards of the first of your new de jure governments. Contained within the new rules are the new financial and monetary systems based on hard currency, open rules of banking, and an end to large multiservice banking conglomerates. Furthermore, the way will be opened up to get a formal disclosure announced, and the many provisions of NESARA introduced and applied. This will establish a new relationship between individuals and their national governance.

Many lands have been devastated by war,drought,flooding and many other natural disasters some man made. Now is the time for Humanity in these areas to sit back and look at what has happened and begin the study of the environment. Many have built large cities by the oceans and are now finding that these  areas are not as safe as once thought. Many are living in environments that have no natural earth beauty around them.

It is now time to find a balance that works for Humanity and the Natural environment. We need to look at the buildings we are developing and the materials we use. Many forests have been cut down and  lost due to consumption in one way or another and in its wake we have lands less fertile, erosion, stagnant rivers and streams.

As a collective we all have many skills we just need to combine them and find the solutions to our problems. We can begin looking at sustainable ways to live and to build. We can begin replanting forests in areas that will stop the erosion of our lands and move away from the large city concepts we have been bought up with. The amount of Cars we have on the roads is choking the Earth and she is unable to breath under layers of concrete and pathways.

The Astrology of February 2013 and a Little Beyond

We have crossed many thresholds and experienced many transitions, but we are still waiting for the moment when we shed the past and enter the future we have been planning. That moment is in February. We will finally begin cutting our ties to the past, and pushing through whatever barriers remain. February offers confidence and determination, a willingness to overcome resistance, even resistance in high places. But February also promises to help us maneuver obstacles and negotiate our way around barriers.

The future promises a continuing emphasis on personal transformation, often in the face of resistance. On another level, the power of governments and other large institutions will be scrutinized and their power limited. Power will continue to flow to main street and the grassroots.
