The heart of Apocalypto

 

A few nights ago as my husband surfed TV channels, he landed on a movie that I later found out was the 2006 Mel Gibson film Apocalypto, a supposed portrayal of ancient Mayan culture. I was half-paying attention when a graphic scene caught my view: a man in ceremonial dress standing high in front of a cheering crowd as he held the still-beating heart of one whose life had just been sacrificed to appease the gods.

A quick post from a different coffee shop, but felt that the energies called for it. The wake up this morning was accompanied by a surprise bed visit from this one. His name is Koa, which in Hawaiian means “warrior”. He may be smaller than the other cats here, but he is lightning fast, and loves to play… with almost anything.

So the warrior is resting. Just like I’ve been feeling the last several hours. I suppose this is only a phase. I know it is. In this now moment, we all can give ourselves a rest.

Anyway, I’m off to town, and want to thank all of you for your comments and occasional support help.

The world is a grander place because of you.

Fall is here, and we now have the beautiful colored trees to enjoy. We are still having summer weather here in Seattle and it is gorgeous. I just love fall weather with the warm days and the cool nights and the beautiful trees. We just experienced the Fall Equinox which brought in some very chaotic energy because it triggered the cardinal cross.  The days prior to the Harvest full moon (September 29 at 9:19 PM PDT) and beyond will continue to be very intense, so stay cool, calm and collected.

 

The Feast of Tabernacles starts on October 1, 2012 and continues for a week. This was a very important holiday at the time of Jesus and also today. It has been celebrated at this time of year for many years. It is the Harvest Festival and a time for great celebrations.

Addressing and Releasing Our Fears of Ascension

Our ascension is spoken of through a variety of paradigms. We hear anything from the extreme scenario that the earth will soon be imploding and turning into a 5th dimensional star,to the earth changes being more gradual and long term.

With either scenario, our basal fears are being activated. When we perceive the ascension as an event that we are actually in the midst of NOW, then we can benefit from the opportunity of releasing our fears as they come up.

Those of us who chose to incarnate here at this time and awaken in the darkest hour of earth’s darkest cycle, chose to do so for the opportunity to stretch our soul’s capacity by actively freeing ourselves from the lies of fear, and by aligning our minds with our hearts and the integrity of love.
