MEMPHIS MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS SKIP RECESS FOR MEDITATION

At Lausanne Collegiate School, a middle school in Memphis, Tenn., a group of middle school children opted out of recess so they could meditate, according to a recent report byChannel 3 News Memphis.

The group of 5^th through 8^th grade children sit this way once per week to help improve their concentration in class, and approximately 50 kids have signed up so far, and there is a waiting list of another 50 who want to enroll, the report stated.

“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Greg Graber.  “The kids say not only do they enjoy it but it helps them concentrate and to focus and to feel better. They feel re-energized.”

One student, 11-year-old Henry Clayton, told the news outlet: “After you do it, you just feel a lot more relaxed, and you feel like a lot better about yourself and how the day’s going to go.”

What do I need to see about Death?

Death holds the cycles of life. Death calls for the deepest letting go. It asks from us the deepest surrender to the unknown. Death is a paradox for death is the portal to rebirth.

There is a fluidity in death. Nothing about death is static. Death is a fluid movement from one cycle to the next. Each cycle holds a vision.

The intention or vision or lesson of each cycle sits in our heart. It sources from creation. It abides in stillness. It points to a higher authority, both within us and beyond us. All of these qualities are necessary to manifest the vision within each cycle. Within each cycle sits the wisdom carried from previous lineages and ancestors. Wisdom held in the steps that have taken us to this current visionary cycle. This is where death is necessary. This is where surrender is necessary. To move from one cycle to another.

Death is the transit from one cycle to the next.

As I awoke this morning, and was feeding and communing with kitties, I walked out and saw this. A Galactic Bagel. In fact it started out with a much smaller hole, and had expanded by the time I got my phone. This was clearly a Bagel craft, and not a doughnut (torus) ship. Nor was it a Krispy Kreme type craft.
