Clutter, however, is precious to you. You have been side-tracked, beloveds. There is so much that is superfluous that you like to believe is essential to you, including all your idiosyncrasies. You cannot quite imagine what would become of you if you were less covered by your personalities. I say personalities plural because your personality is adorable and sweet and also belabors the world and you. Your personalities play around in the fields of life.

These detailed declivities that you run with keep you where you are. Of course, you would like to change this and yet, at the same time, you are attached to the old which you would do well to lay to rest and remove from the shelves of your past. Leave the past uncluttered. Let the past go to sleep.

Hello and welcome to Sun enters Aquarius in 2016! The eight hypothetical Transneptunians are quite active in the January 20 ingress chart. Most noteworthy is the spectacular watery grand trine formed by Kronos (Transneptunian) at 8 Cancer, with Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. The distant Kronos forms a flowing circuit of watery energy with a strong Mars and a -strong Neptune. Kronos’ symbolism consists of highest authority, pinnacle of achievement, specialization, and upper echelons of set structures, such as within a business or the government. The grand trine seems to symbolize the Trump phenomenon. Beneath the surface anger (Mars in Scorpio) with entrenched, out of touch institutions (Neptune in Pisces) propelling a populist, raucous U.S. billionaire (Kronos in Cancer) towards the Presidency. I have stated early on that Trump’s charts are very good for his election chances, for those who enjoy political astrology. More personally, you may find that the watery grand trine gives you a boost at the beginning of the month, through fixed determination and inspiration leading to new levels of achievement. (Using ingenuity, technology, new ideas, and large volumes of knowledge complement the watery grand trine well – and who could be better suited than Sun entering the water bearer’s sign to complement the manifestation of the grand trine?) The watery pattern is well attuned to spiritual leaders showing influence, so perhaps we’ll hear from Pope Francis or other religious leaders of repute around the time of the Sun’s ingress on January 20.

Corruption in politics is a hot topic since the 2010 Citizens United ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court. The decision has created a free-for-all where corporate and private donations have flooded political campaigns, giving rise to power being diverted from the people into the hands of corporations and a wealthy few. Transparency has also been muddled by the ruling since corporations can now legally shield their donations from being disclosed to the public.

Mexico’s unique and treasured native corn varieties could be under threat as Monsanto, the world’s largest seed producer, vies to plant genetically modified (GMO) corn in the country.

In August 2015, a Mexican judged overturned a September 2013 ban on GMO corn, thus opening more business opportunities for Monsanto and other agribusinesses pending favorable later court decisions. Monsanto even announced in October 2015 that it was seeking to double its sales in the country over the next five years.
