“Is the purpose of the TV ad to make you an informed consumer?” asks Noam Chomsky. “The purpose of the ad is to delude and deceive you with imagery so you’ll be uninformed and make an irrational choice.” 

In October of 2011, the American Academy of Pediatrics issued a warning, advising that children under the age of two should not be exposed to television because it can lead to developmental disorders, delayed speech and sleep problems. Similar concerns have been raised regarding tablet use. Despite that, Media Watch founder Ann Simonton found that advertisers “start targeting children at 9 months. They’ve noted that, by two years old, they can achieve brand loyalty and recognition.” This is especially concerning when we take into account subliminal messaging is unregulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) not only in advertising, but television and film as well. The Internet has recently come under scrutiny too. We are basically being brainwashed as babies and it continues throughout our lives.

While a small minority has long been singing the praises of medical marijuana, until very recently it has been vilified by the mainstream. Portrayed as a dangerous, gateway drug that kills brain cells [1] and causes untold ills, this natural herb is slowly emerging from the cloud of propaganda and being seen in a more accurate light.

In the United States, cannabis has been criminalized at the Federal level by implementation of the Controlled Substances Act. This Act classifies cannabis, a natural herb, as a Schedule 1 drug—this is the strictest classification, on par with heroin, LSD and ecstasy. For a long time this rigid legislation meant that it was virtually impossible to conduct studies on it without breaking the law. Today the climate is slowly shifting and we are gradually seeing changes to some of the legislation that has long stifled research. While not much has changed at a federal level, at a state level legislation is being amended so that medical marijuana is no longer criminalized. Currently in the US, 21 states have legalised marijuana for medical purposes.

As you move forward in these ever evolving energies, you will start to see more and more clearly that attempts to practice conditional love, control, judgment, and making decisions from head are less and less supported, and the energies of unconditional love, flow, acceptance and making decisions from the heart are giving relief and results like never before. This has become more obvious to remind you, time and again if necessary, that the old ways and habits simply don’t work any more, and it is time to transition into a more empowered, heart-centred way of doing things.

It is much like when an operating system on your computer that no longer has support. Even though it is what many of you know and have become very comfortable with, it is only a matter of time until it becomes too difficult to use and it is time to transition into the newer way of doing things. You can embrace the new system right away or you can choose to drag your feet until the frustration of using a system with no support becomes too much and you decide to finally embrace the newest version. With any new operating system, there is always a bit of a learning curve, but before you know it, you will become comfortable with it and see how it truly is an improvement over the old way.

What is your bottom line? You can continue to stand and stare at the blocks in your way or you can opt to move them; over, under, around or through. It does not make a difference how, just that you do it. ~ Creator

No longer do you discredit the past, even when it is a minute ago that the past displeased you. The past has brought you here to start anew.

Perhaps you want to tell a tale of how the world and those who inhabit it have not treated you right. Come now, you don't have to pick at the past or anyone from the past who displeased you and displeases you now. Let them go. Let your displeasure go. Why harp on the past?

If you must speak up, speak up regarding the blessings that have been given to you. If I may say, dear ones, in terms of the world, you may not be perfection yet either.

When you are irritated, you are irritated. Maybe you do have something to be irritated about. However, why advertise your displeasure? Day by day, go without a single complaint. You can do it.
