Many of you wonder what your enlightenment process means for your current relationships. Can you have a relationship with someone who is not spiritually awakening?
We liken this scenario to being on a highway, which could be considered your soul path. The person who is embracing their spiritual awakening seems like they are in a race car, while the one who is not may seem like they are walking down the side of the road. What we wish for you to understand is that both are in forward movement and one is not necessarily better than the other.
You see, there are many who do not have conscious spiritual awakening on their “to do” list for this incarnation. They may have focused on spirituality for many lifetimes and are wishing to take a break this time around. They may be fine-tuning other parts of the human experience and have come in service to you, to create the stability, resources and time you need to have the freedom to embrace your own enlightenment.
This role would be just as sacred as the role of spiritual seeker. Often times this can be much like the passing of a baton between two souls, with you taking turns being seeker and supporter in different lifetimes, but make no mistake about it – both roles are equally honoured and sacred, even if the supporter displays no interest in the spiritual process whatsoever.
God said:
Will you agree with Me that love is your natural state? Do you agree?
If love is not your first reaction at present, what has interfered with this natural state I gave to you for safe keeping? Love is natural because I gave it to you. I gave you My Nature, and My Nature is to love.
The Love from Your Heart has been impacted upon. Your love moved over. You may feel your love was chased away or kicked away. Your Beloved Heart received signals that your love perhaps wasn’t valued. You did indeed receive the message that love is not a safe route. You could not be sure that love had been apportioned to you. You wanted and want to protect your love. You do not know how to keep on giving your heart away when your heart is perhaps kicked around and not readily backed up. You tended to hold your Divine Heart apart.
Perhaps, back then, whatever you did was not quite right or good enough. To be good was more important than to shine the light of your love. You learned the hard way. Yes, your heart felt tossed aside.
Regardless of the past, it is for you now to reconnect with your love and know its security because your heart, in Truth, is bigger than the world, bigger than hurt. Your heart is as big as the Sun. Your heart has all the Light of My Heart. What did you think it means that you and I are One? There is One Sun, and it sheds its Light on All irrespective of anything.

Not long ago on our land at the Valhalla Movement we spent three months building our Earthship-inspired greenhouse. It was messy, unnecessarily long, cold, and fraught with unpredictable challenges. We thought that the integrity of our mission plus the enthusiasm of our team and our supporters would be enough to get the local municipality on our side. We thought that our plans would be approved in no time. We were wrong. If we had done sufficient research beforehand, we wouldn’t have made such casual assumptions. The biggest mistake that we made was assuming, in doing so we did not plan the build thoroughly or timely.
