The Warm Relationship Between Turkey and ISIS (Confirmed Facts)
A new drastic escalation in the Syria war has just started with the Turkish military’s downing of a Russian Su-24 fighter jet over Syria with the explanation that it had violated Turkish airspace. This took place just days after threatening Moscow with “serious consequences” if it continued bombing ISIS in Syria.
From the first days of the Syrian crisis, Turkey was the main gate to send fighters and weapons to Syria. The Turkish government has been consistent in pursuing its own agenda, which started with supporting the Islamic armed groups against the Syrian government. That includes al-Qaeda’s affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, which shares many of its aspirations for a fundamentalist caliphate with ISIS.
Previously, Turkey claimed to be the defender of the Syrian people and their dreams, but held a rather more worrisome agenda. Here are some facts to confirm — with no doubt — that ISIS is a PARTNER (not enemy) to Turkey, which means of course that fighting the terrorist group is not really on Turkey’s agenda.

The U.S. Government failed to deter them through threats of criminal prosecution, and clumsy attempts to intimidate their families. Now four former Air Force drone operators-turned-whistleblowers have had their credit cards and bank accounts frozen, according to human rights attorney Jesselyn Radack.
“My drone operators went public this week and now their credit cards and bank accounts are frozen,” Radack lamented on her Twitter feed (the spelling of her post has been conventionalized). This was done despite the fact that none of them has been charged with a criminal offense – but this is a trivial formality in the increasingly Sovietesque American National Security State.

This City Allows People To Pay Off Parking Tickets With Food Pantry Donations
During the month-long “Food for Fines” program, Lexington’s parking authority will accept cans for citations.
For one month in Lexington County, Kentucky, individuals who forgot to feed their parking meter or drove too fast and got a ticket can pay off their fines with canned good donations.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that during the monthlong “Food for Fines” program (November 16 – December 18), the city’s parking authority will accept cans for citations.
Those who donate 10 canned food items will receive a $15 credit on citations. Customers with multiple citations are only allowed to bring in 10 cans per citation to receive the credits.
All the food will be donated to God’s Pantry Food Bank, which will use the items to stock the shelves of its four Lexington locations.
