Stay the Course: The Fight For Marijuana Legalization Continues
By Ryan Cristan
Guest Writer for Wake Up World
With the newly released statement from the U.S. Department of Justice, some feel the battle for marijuana legalization has been won, however the war for this country’s future is just beginning. The DOJ is claiming that it will allow states with strict cannabis laws in place to continue with their present course of marijuana sale and production, as long as they create “a tightly regulated market” and are strict in the enforcement of said laws; not legalizing marijuana, but choosing not to enforce the federal law themselves. It’s a hypocritical move, and there in lies the problem…
By keeping marijuana illegal, and on the controlled substance list, the Feds are intentionally not allowing cannabis to be researched and developed on the large-scale level of which this country is in dire need. The typically ambiguous wording of their statement is reminiscent of the Patriot Act, allowing the government to interpret what they feel to be “robust controls and procedures” or “tightly regulated” (of which both are repeatedly used) on a case to case basis and thereby continuing their attempt to control the flow of information and production.
This Glass Device Uses Honey Bees To Detect Cancer
At last year’s Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Portuguese designer Susana Soares presented a device that can detect cancer and other diseases using honey bees. Known for their extraordinary sense of smell, bees can detect airborne molecules in the parts per trillion range and can be trained to recognize certain smells associated with diseases such as lung, skin and pancreatic cancer, as well as tuberculosis.
The device is made out of two chambers. The smaller enclosure is a kind of diagnosis space into which people exhale. The previously trained bees, which are kept in the larger chamber, rush into the smaller one if they sense an odor they were trained to recognize. The outer curved tube is used to keep the bees away from the interior chamber. Once a person exhales, the breath becomes visible through condensation.

How Plants Help Each Other Grow By Near-Telepathic Communication
Plants have scientifically been show to draw alternative sources of energy from other plants. Plants influence each other in many ways and they communicate through “nanomechanical oscillations” vibrations on the tiniest atomic or molecular scale or as close as you can get to telepathic communication.
Members of Professor Dr. Olaf Kruse’s biological research team have previously shown that green algae not only engages in photosynthesis, but also has an alternative source of energy: it can draw it from other plants. His research findings were released in the online journal Nature Communications.
Other research published last year, showed that young corn roots made clicking sounds, and that when suspended in water they would lean towards sounds made in the same frequency range (about 220 Hz). So it seemed that plants do emit and react to sound, and the researchers wanted to delve into this idea further.

Forget Fillings – Here’s How To Heal Cavities Naturally
GFP: I was curious if there was any evidence to back this up, and I found this study.
The, perhaps aptly-titled, website www.hatedentists.com lists many reasons people hate visiting their dentist’s office. Many of those fears come to roost in such dreaded procedures as wisdom teeth removal and, the topic of today’s post, cavity filling.
But what if there were a natural, less invasive and painful way to fill those pesky craters in your chompers?
Read on, good people.
Eggshells – y’know, those things you throw away without hesitation – are actually quite useful for everything from cleaning water to relieving pain.
They’re also great for repairing bone damage – in other words, they can work wonders for repairing cavities.

If you cannot practice self love and self care, it indicates that you are unwilling to accept from yourself. If you cannot accept from yourself, how can you accept from others? If you are not holding the energy of acceptance on the most fundamental level, how on earth can the universe deliver to you?
Do you see? Your own self love, your own nurturing, your own acceptance of your own divine perfection, are absolutely vital in order to draw to you the very things you yearn to experience.
Dear Ones, acceptance is an essential element of the manifestation process, as well as the anchor of peace. This is why we stress the importance of self love and acceptance so very much. It is the foundation of all the things you wish to experience and so deserve.
You simply cannot attract what you do not embody or accept. Isn’t it time to make the change within? Isn’t it time to see yourself as the precious, mindful, loving, tender being you are and allow the entire universe to reflect that truth back to you? ~Archangel Gabriel

Global Consciousness: The Mind-Blowing Effects Of Mass Meditation
The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is one of the most fascinating, revolutionary, and useful research initiatives being carried out in the world today. Its potential to improve the quality of our life is infinite, with the scientific method being its only hindrance – to prove beyond reasonable doubt that we are all one.
GCP is the brainchild of Dr. Roger D. Nelson, a professor at Princeton University who holds a PhD in Experimental Cognitive Psychology. He has the distinction of being the first scientist to find a way of measuring with mathematical models what ancient spiritual traditions have always claimed: we are all one. Nelson has devised a way to measure the field of global consciousness, a field that unites us, and in doing so has revealed that we are the cells of a single body. That body is humanity.
The scientific name given to this phenomenon is Electrogaiagram (EGG). It is measured through a network of one hundred computers in many different parts of the world that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, emitting ones and zeros in a predefined random pattern.
The Secret To Staying Healthy: The Lymphatic System
Let’s talk about the sewer system of your body. Did you know the lymphatic system circulates, cleans, and filters all the leftover blood in the body? Surprisingly, there are three times more lymph than blood in the body. It is far too important not to educate people about this before society’s toxic, consumeristic products overwhelm our most important detoxification system.
The gut contains up to 80% of our immune cells. They’re contained in GALT, or gut associated lymphatic tissue. From our tonsils and adenoids in the throat to our colon, the gut is the storehouse of the lymphatic system. Lymphocytes, or white blood cells that are part of the lymphatic system, are also stored and made in the thymus behind the heart, the spleen, appendix, bone marrow, and lymph nodes scattered throughout the body. See how important mouth to colon health is? Why would the body put nearly our entire immune system there if exposure to food wasn’t so vital?
