Globalization is the emergence of bodies that organize, operate and economize on an international scale. It arguably originated to a small degree millennia ago, however since the 19th Century, and particularly over the past few decades, it has come to dominate the way in which the world owns, distributes, obtains, consumes and wastes its resources.

At first glance, globalization appears as a primarily positive influence for the socio-economic evolution of our global culture, because it has brought some short-terms gains; however the long-term reality is much more destructive. The deregulation of international trade and the consolidation of power structures has caused severe damage to local economies, cultural diversity, food quality, business ethics, Mother Earth and individual health, among other areas.

Are There Limited Miracles?

A coaching client reported that years ago when she became pregnant, her doctors told her that the baby would not survive. She and her husband prayed fervently for the child’s well-being, and the baby was born healthy and went on to live a happy life. Since that time she had a few miscarriages, and now the couple very much wants another child. “Do you think we each get a certain allotment of miracles, and when we use it up, we get no more?” she asked.

“That’s not how it works,” I told her firmly. “Miracles and well-being are our natural state, given freely forever. Only the human mind lays limits over the good available to us. It is not God’s grace we need to beg for. It is our own. And we don’t need to beg. We just need to claim it.”

California’s first farm-to-table new home community just opened. Called “The Cannery,” it’s a residential project designed and put together by The New Home Company. Designed with a seven acre urban farm near the center of downtown Davis, this 100 acre project is considered to be the very first agrihood built on what used to be industrial land.

The community is also home to 547 houses, all of which are energy efficient; each one is solar-powered and comes equipped with electrical car power outlets.

This is great, initiatives like these need to start happening all over the world, and the fact that somebody has now done it shows the rest of the developed world that it’s possible. Instead of building normal residential communities, why not create something sustainable?

Earthships, tiny homes, weatherproof greenhouses, organic farming and more all seem to be part of a larger trend that more and more people are investing in. We are waking up to what’s needed to ensure the prosperity of future generations and the health of the planet. Indeed, this community is focused on organic farming, which is a proven sustainable practice which can only be good for everyone involved.

Many modern architects are turning a new leaf when it comes to design and the incorporation of plant life and vegetation within their structures. Apple’s new campus slated for construction in Cupertino, CA, is one example of the stunning new architectural ideas that will be realized within just a matter of years.  Apple isn’t the only organization that is commissioning stunning new building designs, however. FPT University, a private school located in Ho Chi Minh City, South Vietnam, hired a firm to design their new urban campus, and what their architects came up with was a mix of both urban and jungle design that they describe as “a blend of culture and sustainability.”

EMBRACE DIVERSITY Each of you is unique, coming from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Your belief codes are the foundation upon which you build your entire world. When your base is one of love, peace and joy, you will see the world from these lenses, expecting people to respond to you in like manner. There are not two among you that are the same as another; why attempt to make it so?

When you have the ability to accept others’ individuality and to embrace and encourage them even when you do not agree, then you will begin to have autonomy in your world. Even within spiritual circles, there is much dissention.

What does it matter if you have different views of god? Does it matter if some of your religious laws are different? Is there one religion amongst you that does not state that it is good to love one another and treat others with kindness and respect? Then perhaps, if there is to be a unified religion, this should be your guide. If a unified language is to be chosen, perhaps silence would be the greatest, allowing more time to go within and less miscommunication through the use of oral language.

There is no hierarchy in the higher frequency Dimensions, although there is organization, with everyone having a role to play. We strive to assist you to begin living in this manner on Earth. How can you begin to release judgments in your life?   Selamet! Ik 12

Circles: Opening our Minds to Dimension

Part of our awareness, down to each and every single person, includes how we relate to various images and pictures. We likely envision a personal space or comfort zone around us, perhaps as circles surrounding our dots of being. Considering the amount of time we spend seeking and searching our inner and outer selves, sometimes we get a little too involved in what we see. What’s more, we tend to get excited and interested in finding what exists beyond whatever our particular circle may be.

People process and render images in different ways. The way we depict things can differ even further, depending on our level of artistic skill. For example, if you asked a handful of people to draw a picture of a person, their collective artwork could include everything from a stick figure, a clothed stick figure, possibly a body outline, and, if lucky, an almost picture-perfect pencil sketch with light, shading, and dimension.

Many of you have used vision boards to represent what you would like to manifest in your lives. Along that line, we have a suggestion to help you capture the essence of what you would like to experience.

Why not create some manifestational art? You do not need to be an artist to do so. You simply need to be clear about what it is you would like to create in your life and go from there. This is a very effective practice, because it involves intention, creation, and allows you to immerse yourself in the energetic essence of what is desired. The act of the creation of the art, like all flows of creation, puts you in alignment with Source energy, and when you are in alignment you are in the ideal energies for manifestation.

Your art does not need to be of any specific sort, or particularly skillful. All that matters is that you know what your intention and energy infusion was to your piece, and that you enjoyed creating it.

So perhaps you wish to experience more peace in your life. While creating with the intention of peace, you might be drawn to colours that make you feel peaceful. You would be thinking the word peace in your mind as you were creating, which would be infusing your art with the energy you wish to experience more of. You would then be holding the peace, which will make you magnetic to more peace. Then every time you would see your art, you would remember that feeling and anchor it into your existence even more.

Have you had the experience of dealing with the same problem again and again?  Because the Law of Attraction governs our lives, our thoughts and feelings are what create our reality, and this includes our problems!  Sometimes we have a negative focus that has become so strong it causes us to attract the same problem repeatedly.

So, why might we have a negative focus like this? Below are three common habits that cause problems to repeat themselves through negative attention.  If you find you find yourself experiencing the same problem again and again, check to see if any of these behaviors are at play:

1. Talking or complaining about the problem: 

For many of us, this is the strongest reason why we attract problems repeatedly.  Most of us talk a lot, and we tend to tell the same story again and again.

What if you could change your state of mind, just by changing your breathing?

A study on deep breathing [1] found that it made the participants more relaxed and that it affected the brain waves of the participants. This has implication beyond just lowered stress and increased well-being

The study used electroencephalogram (EEG) to measure the effect of deep breathing on the 16 participant’s brain waves.

The breathing lasted four to six minutes with six breaths per minute. The deep breaths consisted of four seconds of inhaling with the diaphragm, two seconds holding the breath and four seconds of exhaling.

The deep breathing increased the amount of alpha, theta and delta waves.

What does this mean, you might ask.

Normally we’re in the beta state. It is when your brain waves have a frequency of 16-31 Hz (per second). In the beta state we’re attentive, thinking actively and alert. It ranges from actively calm, to stressed out or mildly obsessive.
