Should I Be Worried About The Pill? 8 Things You May Have Never Heard About It Before

It’s easy, it’s effective, and it’s harmless – at least, that’s what they tell us. But do we really understand what popping those small white pills day after day is doing to our body, behaviour, and self-confidence? I know I didn’t. I had to reach the brink of depression before digging into ‘The Pill’ and finding out some surprising facts, and stories from other women brave enough to tell me about their experiences, which made me realize I wasn’t crazy for wanting to come off it.

1. It’s The Most Commonly Used Drug In The World
There are currently well over 100 million women on the Pill, and it has been used at some time by 300 million. Tens of millions more use injectables, patches, and implants which contain similar levels of hormones. Girls as young as 12 are prescribed the Pill, not only for contraception, but also for heavy periods, acne, or ‘hormone imbalances.’

There Is A War On Consciousness Happening – Banned Graham Hancock TED Talk

In January of 2013, British author and researcher Graham Hancock presented to a TEDx audience a summary (titled “The War on Consciousness”) of his various investigative work into the historical origins of human consciousness, with key insights addressed along with his own personal experiences. Hancock makes a contrast between the traditional cultural values and practices centered around visionary states of consciousness with the values and practices of the modern industrial world.
The TEDx event was titled “Visions for Transition: Challenging existing paradigms and redefining values (for a more beautiful world)”. The event was intended to be paradigm-busting, but apparently Hancock wasn’t conservative enough in his message, because his TED talk got banned and removed from their website and their Youtube channel.

Solutions for the Personal Struggle

I’ve been struggling with low consciousness habits and tendencies that are keeping me from living a creative, heart-centered lifestyle, and they’re bringing with them a dull, negative outlook on life that can be hard to escape.
I notice that I feel better when I write, play music or express myself in another way, but the problem has been finding the motivation to actually do those things. I don’t know how the evolutionary process is playing out for all of you right now, but I’m being forced to confront everything about myself that’s holding me back and making it difficult to approach my work with any kind of enthusiasm.
I’m realizing that I won’t be able to continue with this work if I don’t make some serious inner changes, because my low consciousness habits are causing me to feel depressed, unmotivated to work and unsure that I’m even helping anyone or doing anything significant. The mail I receive from all of you convinces me otherwise, but battling these negative thoughts and feelings can be difficult.

Within each of you lies the power to change anything in your life that is out of balance. All this takes is courage and the conscious awareness that there is something out of balance that you can change. First, take a few moments to quiet your inner mind and outer world. Let go of the thoughts of the day. As you breathe in and out, relax your muscles from your toes to your nose.
Fill your heart with gratitude while focusing on the many blessings that are in your life. Being in a state of gratitude will increase the frequency of love within your body, allowing you clearer access to your subconscious mind. Choose one area of your life you would like to change, it matters not which one you choose for you can return at any time and choose another area of concern.
Notice where you are today with this situation. What areas are not working for you? You may wish to write down anything pertaining to this matter that is causing you unrest. Include things beyond your control such as what other people are saying or doing in relation to the matter. Now, take as much time as you need to visualize how your life would be different if this situation were not present in your life. Write these things down; be creative and think big. Erase any doubts that come into your mind or any concerns regarding how impossible it would be to attain this vision.
