With several governments around the world openly admitting to the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), the United States government has received a large push from its citizens to disclose the truth about their knowledge of this bizarre yet fascinating phenomenon.

As a result, in late 2014 Barack Obama’s right hand man, (Councillor) Jon Podesta, who was also the Chief of Staff under the Clinton administration, tweeted that one of his biggest regrets of 2014 was his inability to “secure the disclosure of UFO files” and that “the time to pull the curtain back on this subject is long overdue. Is there a relationship you would like to establish or reconnect? Choose one to focus on today. Take a few moments to center yourself and release the worries of the day.

Clear your mind of the clutter that distracts you. Focus on your breathing, letting your breath flow in and out at a normal rate. Relax your muscles and let your mind wander to an issue you would like to work on today. See it clearly in your mind.

Yes, life in the world is like a dance, and you never know when your dancing on Earth ceases. You may have been doing somersaults all your life, and then, one day, you will leave your somersaulting behind and you go off into the wild blue yonder.

When you flip through your daily newspaper, or watch the nightly news, chances are you have noticed a steady increase in celebrity news, fashion, and gossip filling up the column inches, and crowding out the news.

This has been going on for centuries. In Latin it’s called panem et circenses. Translated, it means ‘bread and circuses’, a phrase made famous by the Roman poet Juvenal circa CE 100. In Roman terms, this phrase refers to the creation of public approval by the ruling class, not by any altruistic or progressive means, but through the use of wonderful distractions and entertainment.

It’s a tried and tested template for keeping the commoners’ point of focus off politics and the economy, and onto the distraction de jour.

The concept of “time” is a weird one, and the world of quantum physics is even weirder. There is no shortage of observed phenomena which defy our understanding of logic, bringing into play thoughts, feelings, emotions – consciousness itself, and a post-materialist view of the universe. This fact is no better illustrated than by the classic double slit experiment, which has been used by physicists (repeatedly) to explore the role of consciousness and its role in shaping/affecting physical reality. (source) The dominant role of a physical material (Newtonian) universe was dropped the second quantum mechanics entered into the equation and shook up the very foundation of science, as it continues to do today.

A commonly proposed solution to counteract companies such as Monsanto, as well as to improving your health through diet, is to stop purchasing foods with chemical additives and GMO ingredients from companies that are against GMO labeling and banning. Yet, labels are sometimes misleading, with large marketing slogans such as “All Natural”, while ingredients lists are often printed in tiny text and sometimes difficult to locate.

Furthermore, considering the numerous buyouts in the food industry that have take place over the last couple of decades, it is difficult to really know which brands are owned by which companies. Organic brands should be a safe option, but certain organic brands are actually owned by companies that back Monsanto’s anti-GMO labeling initiatives. This makes non-GMO shopping a challenge.

Brains will sprout new connections between cells as long as the environment challenges or stimulates. The saying, “Use it or you lose it” applies to brain power as well as other aspects of our lives. Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers the brain uses to communicate. Transmission of signals across the synapses is regulated by some thirty brain chemicals. The best known are acetylcholine, epinephrine and serotonin, all made from amino acids. In Oriental Medicine the brain is referred to as the “seat of marrow” and nourished by the Kidney System.

More often than not, when life becomes stagnant we don’t even realize it has happened. One day we just wake up and – Bam! We understand we’re in a rut and usually have no idea how we got there. A retracing of steps and some honest soul work is usually on the cards – exactly how did I get to this point?

Invariably the answer is close to the surface and can be easily remedied. But beware. An un-examined stagnation period can turn into a life badly lived, and if we aren’t careful it isn’t long before our main regret is not that we didn’t keep our noses down and our mind on the goal but that we didn’t stop to take a look around. Life is messy. It’s not always linear. In fact there’s a lot of too-ing and fro-ing; one step back and two steps forward. Sometimes all we need to do is stop and readjust. We need to keep our dialogue with the universe open and flowing. Else our stream might dry up.
