Everyone wants to live life to the fullest, in fact that its what life is all about. We are here to experience life to it’s fullest potential – the highs, the lows and everything else in between.

Many of us however, are short changing ourselves by believing certain values or constraints. These beliefs hold us back and prevent us from living our best life.

The top 7 beliefs that prevent us from living our best life include-

1.) It’s Not Important to Love Yourself:

Loving yourself is one of the most important and fundamental things we can do in order to live life to it’s fullest potential. Loving yourself doesn’t just mean that you superficially pamper yourself with material items or a day at the spa, loving yourself means that you wholeheartedly accept, appreciate and express gratitude for being in your body every day.

Mercury in Aquarius, his tutor’s sign, turns direct again this week, giving Jupiter status as the only retrograde planet. Neptune still dominates the transits this week, very strong and influential in his home sign Pisces. Planetary pairs continue to be a long standing theme: Mercury in Uranus’ sign; Sun opposite Jupiter by sign and often aspect all month; and Venus in the same sign as her spiritual teacher, Neptune. A sense of depression is a passing thing. No matter how deep it may seem, it is a passing thing. It’s a moment’s thought like any other passing thought. Thoughts jump around all over the place. A thought is just a thought. Why dwell on thoughts that do not serve you or the Universe?

You are not here on Earth for yourself. Of yourself, you make of yourself too small a field. You make of yourself too much effort. Don’t try so hard. Beloveds, just be. Just be, and what can the matter be? Dry up your self-persecution. Let go of improving yourself. Too often improving yourself turns into self-depreciation. You play a trick on yourself.

There is no outside you. You manufacture events, and you forget your Wholeness. You distract yourself from the Joy of Life. You focus on the past, or you focus on the future. So much self-attention on yourself. You tear yourself down and forget to build yourself back up.

Would you be so careless with a Child of God? Apparently so. You negate yourself. It isn’t that you have to build yourself up. You have to stop tearing yourself down.

Are you so sure you know better than I do? I do not find you wanting. You find yourself wanting. You beat yourself up. Forgo bearing false testimony against yourself.

You blame the world, and you blame Me. You blame life. You castigate life, and you castigate yourself. Cease putting yourself down. Come to your own rescue.

My Guides are continually channeling information about our Higher Self, and the fact that our Higher Self is our best source for guidance and information. While it’s true that our Higher Self, our guides, and also angels communicate with us through synchronicity, repetitive numbers, and even repeating song lyrics, Spirit wants to converse with us; not have a one-sided conversation where they hope we understand the message being communicated.

Each one of us deserves direct communication with Spirit. Over the years, my guides have provided a lot of advice and meditations to help us achieve this kind of connection. One of the things they talk about and continually build upon is practicing intent during meditation to receive messages from Spirit and/or our Higher Self.

We hear arguments for prayer in school all the time, but you don’t hear too many people asking for kids to be given the opportunity to meditate while in the classroom. Meditation has a clear physical and psychological benefits to the person meditating.

More and more, adults are turning to meditation to relieve stress and improve mental clarity, but it doesn’t stop there. Young people of nearly any age are able to learn to meditate as well. And it’s good, because children are definitely capable of feeling the same degree of stress that adults do.
