Everything you need to know about DMT

The following is an excerpt from Terence Mckenna’s book, Food of the Gods: The Search for the Original Tree of Knowledge A Radical History of Plants, Drugs, and Human Evolution. McKenna believed that DMT was the “quintessential hallucinogen and consequently, the quintessential spiritual and magical tool of this dimension.” According to McKenna, DMT is a compound that occurs in the human nervous system, in many plants and is the commonest hallucinogen in all of nature.
Do the short-acting tryptamines offer an analogy to the ecstasy of the partnership society before Eden became a memory? And if they do, then what can we say about it?

How are You? Day 87, Manik 9
HOW ARE YOU? Practice this little exercise on a daily basis. Stop all you are doing, take a few breaths, then notice how you are feeling. This is a good way to monitor where you are emotionally. Notice how you feel inside. Is there tension or calmness? Are you feeling antsy or at peace? Are you afraid or confident?
Whenever you notice you are feeling tense, take time to go into a deeper state of relaxation. By making this a habit, eventually you will find yourself being more at peace and centered, no matter what is occurring around you. Decision-making will be much easier. You are likely to make better choices when you are relaxed.
Your body uses many muscles and more energy when it is tense. Your whole system becomes over-stressed when tension is allowed to build up on a daily basis. Release the stress and enjoy a more fulfilling life!” Manik 9, Day 87

Van Allen probes spot an impenetrable barrier in space
Van Allen radiation belts have been found to contain a nearly impenetrable barrier that prevents the fastest, most energetic electrons from reaching Earth.
The Van Allen belts are a collection of charged particles, gathered in place by Earth’s magnetic field. They can wax and wane in response to incoming energy from the Sun, sometimes swelling up enough to expose satellites in low-Earth orbit to damaging radiation. The discovery of the drain that acts as a barrier within the belts was made using NASA's Van Allen Probes, launched in August 2012 to study the region. A paper on these results appeared in the November 27, 2014, issue of Nature magazine.
Dan Baker, a space scientist at the University of Colorado in Boulder and first author of the newly released paper said this barrier for the ultra-fast electrons is a remarkable feature of the belts. "We're able to study it for the first time, because we never had such accurate measurements of these high-energy electrons before."

‘World’s Poorest President’ Explains Why We Should Kick Rich People Out Of Politics
People who like money too much ought to be kicked out of politics, Uruguayan President José Mujica told CNN en Español in an interview posted online Wednesday.
“We invented this thing called representative democracy, where we say the majority is who decides,” Mujica said in the interview. “So it seems to me that we [heads of state] should live like the majority and not like the minority.”
Dubbed the “World’s Poorest President” in a widely circulated BBC piece from 2012, Mujica reportedly donates 90 percent of his salary to charity. Mujica’s example offers a strong contrast to the United States, where in politics the median member of Congress is worth more than $1 million and corporations have many of the same rights as individuals when it comes to donating to political campaigns.
“The red carpet, people who play — those things,” Mujica said, mimicking a person playing a cornet. “All those things are feudal leftovers. And the staff that surrounds the president are like the old court.”
Psychedelics Could Change The Way We Die
When 33-year-old Mara Howell was dying of cancer, the pain she experienced was so severe that even the highest doses of opioids, methadone, IV ethanol and even an intrathecal pump weren’t working. She was bedridden, and depression and anxiety crashed down on top of the pain.
As Mara’s mother Marilyn Howell recalls in her memoir Honor Thy Daughter, published by the nonprofit Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS):
“However much courage Mara had, the waves of illness that washed over her were unrelenting. Diligent exercise didn’t make her stronger, an antidepressant didn’t make her happier.”
The only thing that helped at all was marijuana, but the help was subtle and less than ideal.
Marilyn, a mind-body educator who developed the first psychophysical curriculum in public education, describes in her book how Mara’s pain didn’t seem to be stemming solely from physical problems. After exhausting every legal option imaginable, Marilyn –– along with Mara’s hospice care worker, Joyce Vassallo –– began to consider alternatives. Eventually they landed on something unusual to help ease Mara’s suffering: psychedelics.

State of emergency declared in Gaza due extreme weather and flooding
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza, has declared state of emergency in Gaza City, following extreme weather and severe flooding over the past two days. Hundreds of residents in the flooded areas around the Sheikh Radwan storm water lagoon have evacuated their homes. Luckily, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
63 schools in Gaza City are closed as a precautionary measure, and 43 more schools in the North Area of the Strip are also now closed.
"We are very concerned about such severe storms this early in the season and on the back of unprecedented damage and destruction caused by the recent conflict,” Robert Turner, UNRWA’s Director of Operations in Gaza
Such devastation exacerbates the already poor humanitarian situation for refugees and non-refugees in Gaza, which is dealing with the aftermath of a recent conflict, and an acute fuel and energy crisis. In December 2013, the fiercest winter storm brought torrential rains and widespread flooding that displaced thousands.
Consciousness & The Art of Loving Our Experience
Phil Watt, Contributor
Waking Times
The usual tendency in our modern secular thinking is to view the outer world as separate from ourselves, but really it is just a partial reflection of what we fundamentally are. Objective reality is one of two pieces. Both pieces make up one whole. The other part is our subjective world, which are our feelings, thoughts and beliefs.
In this ancient and rebirthed understanding, we are realizing we are both the inner and outer worlds.
Now I could go into why quantum physics specifies that these two portions are inseparable, or why ancient wisdom and modern mystics say the same thing, but if we’re on this path we intuitively and possibly even logically know this already.

Homebirthed Babies Stolen from Parents for Not Using Hospital
Terri LaPoint, Medical Kidnap
Waking Times
All three of their babies have been taken away from them and placed in the care of strangers. Levi was 10 months old when his mother, local singer and songwriter Erica May Rengo, gave birth to his twin brother and sister, at their home in Bellingham, Washington.
“Our birth was glorious,” she said, and the twins were reportedly healthy, full-term babies, who had no problem quickly figuring out how to breastfeed. The little family was overjoyed until CPS stepped in to “help.”
It is another medical kidnapping according to the parents. The Rengos have chosen a wholesome, holistic lifestyle...

Having a relationship end and choosing not to love again is like having a car break down and then deciding never to drive again. You are severely limiting your ability to have the satisfying experiences you crave and deserve, if you are excluding such necessary elements. Choosing to retaliate in a way that denies self is only keeping yourself in the energies that upset you in the first place, and will only perpetuate the discomfort you are trying to avoid.
If their car breaks down, a wise human honours their desire for enjoyable transportation, does their research, and buys a new car with greater reliability and more features they desire. If their relationship breaks down, a wise human honours their desire to love and be loved, and from a new place of clarity and knowledge, chooses a new relationship with greater reliability and traits that match their desires.
Do not deny yourselves, Dear Ones, even if you have a disappointment. Simply learn from your experiences and choose again, based on your new level of wisdom, for you are on the planet to love, enjoy, experience and evolve. ~Archangel Gabriel
