Dealing with Difficult People

Many of us spend an inordinate amount of time and energy contending with difficult people or “emotional vampires” at work and at home. It’s a reflex to emotionally contract around them feeling powerless, irritated, hurt, or miserable, reactions that just wear you out. But, they can’t steal your happiness unless you let them.

Surrender can improve your communication skills in many kinds of challenging interactions. For instance, do you know when to surrender your need to be right in order to restore love at home, or when to surrender resentments so that you can forgive? How to avoid taking things personally? Or deal with a friend or spouse who’s doing something you disagree with?

Be aware that your ego could resist the concept of surrender as its aim is to create open channels of communication between people rather than stonewalling or defending, responses the ego is more accustomed to...

The Kepler space telescope has been snapping images of exoplanets, or planets orbiting other stars, and has helped us realize that there could be billions of planets like ours in the galaxy. One of Kepler’s newer finds is something of a ‘mega planet,’ a planet 17 times heavier than the Earth. It even dwarfs other planets classified as super planets.

This mega planet, Kepler-10c, is solid and rocky. It isn’t a gas giant, like Jupiter or Saturn. “Finding Kepler-10c tells us that rocky planets could form much earlier than we thought. And if you can make rocks, you can make life,” lead researcher Dimitar Sasselov says in a press release.

Numerology For November 2014

According to Numerology, November is the 11th Month and in Numerology the 11 is a Master Number. It is associated with a higher vibration, insight, intuition and a connection to the spiritual realm. This is an excellent month to take some time to do some meditation. You may receive some personal insight which could give you guidance in your life. I know from speaking with my clients that people are beginning to pay attention to what used to be considered serendipitous moments in their life. They have realized that they are receiving signs and messages from above and are paying attention.

The 11 is the “messenger.”

The vibration of the number 11 requires balance in all areas of our life, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Let’s face it. These are challenging times on the planet and it is important to stay calm and understand that everything happens for a reason and purpose. Humanity is evolving...

I remember the ad campaign a few decades ago with the tagline, “This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs.” Effective, really. But researchers at King’s College in the United Kingdom have created a visualization of the activity in a normal brain (left) and the activity in the brain of a person who is ‘tripping’ on psilocybin mushrooms.

The researchers used an fMRI, or Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan to scan the brains of two groups of participants. That is, participants who received 2 mg of psilocybin, and those given a placebo.

Inside your brain, you have neural pathways that brain activity typically follows. Sort of like information highways in the brain. What was discovered by the researchers at King’s College is that psilocybin actually forms new and different connections inside the brain, and when the drug wore off, things went back to normal.

You already know everything. How else would your heart know that something is true? I am talking not about facts which are small verifiable or unverifiable things. Facts are not in the league with Truth. Facts come and go, and what is made of facts changes.
 
Of course, your intellect can sway your heart. The intellect can usurp, for the intellect is certain that it knows, for the intellect loves to wrap itself around logic. Your mind may have heard a certain logic a thousand times in the world, and so you have allowed variable untruths to impress themselves upon you as if they were true.
 
When I speak of Truth, I speak of the Truths that do not change -- Infinity, Eternity, Oneness, Life of the Soul and Love Itself. Love may seem to fluctuate on Earth, yet the Oneness of Love I speak of is Eternal and clear and is not the up and down love you are familiar with on Earth, the love that is here today and gone tomorrow, transfigured into something else.
 
Truly it is the heart that knows what is true. Your learn-ed mind may well not. And, on some level, even your heart may have been suckered, even as you may ultimately recognize a vague feeling that tells you something isn’t true, and you disregard your heart. Perhaps someone in the world persuades. It’s not hard for you to be dissuaded.
 

THE NATURE OF CYCLES It is important to pay attention to endings of cycles, no matter how trivial they seem. Paying attention to what is happening in the moment will allow you to find satisfaction and joy in all things. Many start tasks with the goal of completing them, yet no joy is found along the way. When you come to the end of the journey, there is just a hurried sense of getting on with the next project.

Nature has no deadlines, yet all is done on time. The seeds know when to sprout. The leaves know when to fall. The birds know when to migrate. The bears know when to hibernate. You can learn much from Nature through observation.

Take time to quiet your outer world and go within. Have the courage to step back and reflect on dreams you set aside. Are they still valid? What is hindering you from fulfilling those dreams? You may need to make great changes such as leaving a church, ending a relationship, changing jobs or moving to a new location. Each one of these takes great courage, but the rewards are well worth the effort.

If you are not ready to make great changes, start by allowing yourself to dream. Many have lost the art of imagination, yet this is the keystone to any great change. If you can visualize it, if you can feel it, if you can taste it, then you can create it!

Absolutely everything is a wave of energy and there are many new energies taking place on Earth. We’ve shifted consciousness, but we’re still using old reflections to create our reality. Abundance in all aspects of life is now much easier to achieve in the new vibration and a confidence in our abilities will soon magnify to great levels in the coming years. There will be some obstacles and challenges ahead, but know that the following shifts in our being are happening right now as all humans are born into spiritual wealth without practice.

Vibrating frequencies build a virtual construct that makes you think you are in a physical world, but you are not. You are living in a holographic universe which is an illusion – so well designed, that only the highest beings of light can see it for what it is. This is your destiny, but now you will continue to play this game...
