The advancement of modern science and technology has allowed for ways of studying the incredibly small and the commensurably big. Technical capabilities for research make possibilities endless, but private funding means that our great scientists work in silos, answering to competitive economic interests. Sadly, the system as a whole has been forgotten.

Modern medicine has roots in the Hippocratic, Newtonian and Cartesian school of thought, also referred to as reductionism. Though this way of relating to the world, philosophers and scientists defined the universe as a great machine; a complex system that is nothing but the sum of its parts, an account of which can be reduced to accounts of its individual constituents (1). Likewise, early physicians began to define the human body as a machine, studying it by breaking it down into independent parts, losing touch with the study of the whole.

The mind, contemporary spiritual literature tells us, is the true creative power of the universe. It is through the mind, that everything comes into being. We have this power, this creative energy within us. Our power to think, to use the mind, determines the success and happiness, or otherwise, of our lives. And so we must keep our thoughts positive, focused on what we want to bring into being, and we must avoid negative thinking, negative words. The law of attraction will then see to it that whatever we desire, and concentrate on, will come into our lives. Even more effective and efficient will the manifestation of our desires be, the law says, if we bring the power of our emotions together with our thoughts.

Our thoughts however, are not all powerful. In fact, they are illusory. They are illusory because they are impermanent and therefore unreal…..as everything in the phenomenal world is. The ‘mind’ is a collection of thoughts that come and go, sometimes it is our ally, at others, our foe. Our thoughts have no existence in reality, they are no more real than a dream. Reality is the truth that our essence is at one with the One – the higher Consciousness.

This incredible image was taken by astronomers at the Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array in the high altitude desert of Chile. It reveals the ‘baby picture’ of a planet, which gas and a debris disk forming around a young, sun-like star. This planet is likely much like ours was 4 billion years ago during early formation. One day, that planet may harbor life much like us; intelligent, sometimes compassionate, sometimes violent, and generally handsome.

As you choose to become conscious creators, you must learn to both give and receive. As you seek to work with the flow, and to be of service, you must learn to both give and receive. The vast majority of enlightening human beings are more comfortable with the giving than the receiving. That is because you are on the planet to assist, and you perceive receiving as not assisting.

Dear Ones, you like to give because it feels good! There is a joy that comes from assisting that feels wonderful because it honours your deep desire to be of service. But what if we told you receiving is also giving? Receiving from another allows the universe to work through them, so they can feel their purpose, and the joy that comes from assisting, as well. Do you see? When you give, you receive. When you receive, you give. A truly balanced human embraces both, understanding it all is part of the flow, and the dance, of the universe. ~Archangel Gabriel

Robert Hastings, a military official, authored a book called UFOs and Nukes in which he interviews 120 ex US Air Force personnel, from Airmen to Colonels. Each of them has signed a sworn affidavit.

In his book, he details situations where unidentified flying objects appeared over nuclear missile facilities and, shortly after, the missiles themselves were disabled. And it’s not just in the United States. Situations similar to this have been happening globally. UFOs have purportedly disabled nuclear missiles in other parts of the world as well.

Is it coincidental, a distraction, or are UFOs actually disabling nuclear weapons? Could intelligent lifeforms in our stellar neighborhood be concerned by our insanely war-like tendencies?

This couple has the greatest idea ever! In only 4 months and for roughly 20k they built their own little house on wheels.

Not only is it efficient and in the middle of nature but its completely beautiful on the inside! They gave it a nice modern look that is comfortable and luxurious.

Words have the power to inspire, heal, and transform. Just as they can have a positive effect, they can also be hurtful, especially when directed at ourselves. Do you really want to know how someone’s life is going or why it’s the way it is? If so, it’s important to actually listen to the words they use. I believe that you are the embodiment of your words. For example, if someone is constantly talking about misery and despair, then it’s most likely that their life is a reflection of what they’re saying. We all know someone in our lives like this. It can even be draining to be in their company. You come away feeling exhausted, as inadvertently, they are really sapping your precious energy whether you realize it or not.

My family had a rather unique mantra as I was growing up, namely: “We never have any luck.” I grew up believing this and set my expectations accordingly. Of course, it’s not the sort of affirmation I’m suggesting here...

Whether you’re in class, getting onto your yoga mat, or just getting home from work, it’s not uncommon to overhear someone talking about “getting grounded”.

In practice, grounding is a mechanism seen on three levels. It’s 1) a physical connection to the earth beneath you, 2) a shift in mental focus, allowing you to center your thoughts, and 3) whatever else brings your mind and body to ease in the here and now.

Grounding yourself is a mechanism by which you’re able to stabilize your energies, center your mind, and focus on the moment. As a result, you’re able to take a deep breath, step back, and focus on you for that very moment – no matter the time and place.
