New research has found that more than half of some of the most popular rice cereal products exceed proposed new limits for arsenic.

Although there are strict limits for the amount of arsenic level allowed in water, there are currently no maximum levels in food – and now some scientists are speaking out as they are concerned about the effects of long-term exposure.

Bronchial asthma can be a life-threatening condition and even the medications used to treat it can be deadly. All the more reason why a new study on a turmeric extract safely improving the condition is so exciting.

According to the World Health Organization, bronchial asthma afflicts between 100-150 hundred million people worldwide (roughly the equivalent of the Russian Federation.[i] The condition is believed responsible for over 250,000 deaths annually.[ii]  I myself suffered from this condition from at least six months of age when I was first diagnosed until the age of 18 when it disappeared almost overnight.

Real Human Connection…  What does that even mean?  Have we lost touch with each other?  Do we have real connections anymore?  What about real honest relationships?

Are we afraid to be the real us in public or around our friends?  Do we hide behind labels, societies rules or our own fears?

Are we walking down the street afraid to strike up a conversation with another person?  How often are we completely surrounded by other people only to feel completely alone? Do we find ourselves feeling lonely and in the need of a big hug and no one is there to give us one?

The path that Columbus had was very clear. It wasn’t an easy path, yet it was easy in that it became clear to him. At some point, Columbus had no doubt what his path was. He may not have thought of it as a path, yet he knew where he wanted to go. He got there. It didn’t matter that where he landed bore a different name from what he had thought. There was no mistake even as he had been mistaken.
 
You are on the course of your life, and you are getting here. Yet the direction you are going in is not so clearly defined. It is hazy. It is as though you are in the mist. What’s ahead is not so clear to you, and yet you are going there just the same.
 

This is something else. I’ve never heard of a library that carried tools before – only libraries that carry my favorite books. The tool library in the city of Portland, Oregon is truly a brilliant idea. When you think about it, things like power tools don’t really get all that much use before they’re discarded. This means that a lot of resources are being put into making things that aren’t getting very much use. So why not have a library where you can rent out tools instead of owning them? It’s less expensive, easier on the planet, and can help de-clutter your shed.

There are always going to be tools that I want to have around, like socket wrenches, shovels and screw drivers. But a lot of the things I have I wish I could just rent instead of own. Maybe one of these days I’ll organize a tool library for my community. What’s your take?

MANIFEST YOUR DREAMS Welcome to this blessed day in which exists all possibilities. Of the myriad of choices available, what will you choose? Do you realize the importance of your words and how they ripple throughout the entire fabric of the universe? Have you any realization of the impact your thoughts, both positive and negative, have on yourself and others? Thoughts and words fueled by your emotions are the stuff that manifestation is all about.

What is it you desire? What forgotten dreams lie within you? Have you a problem that needs resolved? Is there a fear you wish to overcome? Have you an addiction to a food or substance that you would like to regain control over? Is there a relationship you would like to establish or reconnect? Choose one to focus on today.

Take a few moments to center yourself and release the worries of the day. Clear your mind of the clutter that distracts you. Focus on your breathing, letting your breath flow in and out at a normal rate. Relax your muscles and let your mind wander to an issue you would like to work on today. See it clearly in your mind. Use all five senses to make the visualization as real as you can. In your mind’s eye, look at what is happening around you. If there is some part that you don’t like, change it until the dream feels comfortable and gives you joy. When any fears or doubts come in, let them flow by. If concerns over money arise, set them aside and know that you will be shown ways to purchase or obtain this item.
