Are we intuitively led and guided despite the ego? Looking back, my life tells me that we certainly are: intuition, synchronicity, the magnetic pull of our yearning to understand why, and what is… these things slowly move us toward awareness of True Self and Spirit. I imagine it’s that way for all of us who haven’t lost the yearning. We are remembering or reawakening to what is forgotten, and we are helped.

It’s totally on point to say ‘despite the ego’, since the ego is the obstacle. When I think about some of my attempts at spiritual seeking or having ‘spiritual’ relationships, always so fraught with righteous emotion, ‘worthless me’, and sacrifice, I have to shake my head and smile. What a story: big ego invites serious ‘rearrangement’…

Whether you are new to meditation, getting back at it or practice it daily, one thing that is always a great learning tool is grounding. Regardless of the type of meditation you are doing – mantras, guided, drumming etc. – you will always go deeper and feel more centered when you perform a grounding technique at the beginning of your meditation. If you do any form of energy work you will find grounding a valuable tool to use with it as well. Any time you can bring your focus inward you are able to connect to your Higher Self which in turn will enable you to raise your vibration as you set aside the ego and the world around you.

As the name implies, the purpose of grounding is to make you feel planted on the earth. Have you ever had one of those days when you were just a bit “spiny”? When you couldn’t seem to concentrate on what was right in front of you because your mind was travelling everywhere else?...

Human beings love labels. They like to know what to call things, how to define things, assigning names to things and experiences as a means of predicting what they are and how they will go. They also like to label things as some kind of assurance of how things will unfold. We understand why you do it, but we wonder if you understand how limiting labels can be.

Labels can be very constraining. When you name something, you are putting it in a box and creating parameters for it. But if you understand that freedom, growth and expansion are what you are on the planet to experience, can you see how labelling can be very controlling and restrictive?

Also, in some cases, labels can be separating rather than unifying. Considering you are moving into unity consciousness, and seeking to create a world that is evolving and connected, do labels serve you like they once did? Do you need the separation of labels to self define any longer? Can you see how the releasing of labels would bring far greater peace and far less separation to your planet?

Why not try living beyond labels and see what happens? Why not start simply accepting all people and circumstances as they present in each Now moment? Why not give all your experiences, both within, and with others, the room to define and grow and evolve? Why not concentrate on the divinity that exists in all and make that your new definition point? You just might be surprised at how much room you give everything to improve, both personally and globally, if you do. ~Archangel Gabriel

Smudge sticks are tightly bound bundles of herbs, that are slowly burned as a way to purify and cleanse your house or yourself. Originally, the roots of or smudging come from North American Native purification ceremonies, but can be used by anyone to clear negative energy or just make your rooms smell nice.

If you have a garden, chances are good that you have enough ingredients to make at least one smudge stick. The popular herbs used in smudging ceremonies are

white sage (Salvia apiana)...

Everything is God. God is all there is. Just let that sink in for a second. There is no other material or fabric to make anything in this universe out of other than the fabric of God. Every person, every leaf on a tree, every planet, it’s all God. Nothing can exist independently of God since it would be impossible for something to exist that is not made from the only material there is to make anything out of.

It has been said that God created us in his image and likeness. So if we are made from the very fabric that God itself is made of and if we have the power to create just like God does, then technically we can choose to create our version of how we see and experience God. Not only this, but we must know that our perception and image of our God may not be the exact same as the next person’s and that’s ok.
