I am known in your time as Francis, Francis of Assisi.  I have asked to speak with you now in order to reach the hearts of many who approach this next time with apprehension and fear.

You will find that as you and I speak more with each other this will become much more natural, just as it has between you and Michael.

When I walked the earth as Francis, reaching a state of illumination, meaning being able to speak with spirit and be in communication with one’s Self, was no simple thing.  Most of humanity at that time was simply trying to survive from one day to the next.  Most travel could only be done by foot.  If one were lucky enough to have a beast to carry him, it might be easier and a bit more speedy.  Most did not leave their immediate surroundings in their entire lifetimes.

Communication was mostly by word of mouth.  If one could read and write, one could still only reach as far as a piece of parchment or paper could be carried.  The only education available where I lived was through the church, and that was available to very few.

This is another very significant week astrologically as we approach the full moon lunar eclipse on Wednesday, as a series of powerful conjunctions align in what we call a yod or “finger of fate” pattern. An exact conjunction of Mars and Pluto in Capricorn makes a sextile aspect to Venus and Saturn conjunct in Scorpio, both conjunctions form quincunx aspects to the Moon, which itself is in a conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini. The figure suggests that we are being stretched to integrate a new way of understanding, something that seems still just out of our grasp, and requires significant adjustment or re-alignment.

Eastern philosophy cautions us that desire leads to suffering. It is important to recognize that void of desire, we would not create. Desire, in its purified state, is essential to carrying out the mission of the soul.

 

 

We may surmise that desire is the impulse behind the creation of the universe. Desire entices us into coexistence and co-creation with life. Desire is what motivates us to purify the mind.


 

 
 

 

The warning of the Buddha is well warranted, however. The human mind is stunningly complex and a great responsibility and challenge for us at this level in our spiritual evolution.

A cat of the Light

I was sitting at my computer and noticed 11:11. I thought about my cat a few minutes later and was looking for him (Soleil - Sun in English) and found him sitting by the lighted bulb and he stood there for a while. It was 11:20 when I took the picture. I am pretty sure he was there at 11:11. He truly is the Sun (Soleil) of my life. And I am the Sun of his. Purrrfect match! ^^

 

EDIT: I did not want cats anymore for many reasons and March 19, 2008 he CALLED me. He was on a rooftop, scared and wanting to come down. He meowed and as soon as I heard him I said to the man I was with: "A cat is calling me. Let's find it". It took at least 20 minutes to get it down and he followed us by foot most of the time on more than 2 km. Besides my love for all animals it was not my intention to adopt him, it would be my friends's cat, not mine. April 10 or 11 I had to bring him to the vet for surgery. His tail had frozen and it was black and bent. It was hurting him a lot. So they cut at least 3 inches and I had him neutered at the same time. And in May it happened: I was in love. He became MY cat. And he has been since. I spend most of my time with him. He loves lights, especially Christmas lights, around his Pet's Pad (smile). See:
