More and more people are claiming to have awakened spiritually and sociologically, accepting the idea that there is more to life than our physical existence, and realizing that our monetary system and public institutions are subject to significant corruption.

These are evidently realizations which require considerable thought and an open mind. Realizing that our world is screwed up and spiritually void is one thing. Acting to make positive change is another.

Part of acting to make positive change is to embrace humility. Moving in a humble manner through time includes realizing that everyone has had different life experiences, has come from a different sociological background, and has been genetically dispositioned to favor certain tendencies of thinking. Not everyone, in his or her current mindset, is capable of perceiving our world’s state of affairs and our state of existence like you, or has the same intuitive abilities and critical thinking skills as you.

When you navigate your life from an unshakeable place of self love, you will find decisions become easier. You will experience less extremes. Healthy boundaries will be clearer. People will respect and honour you because you hold that respect and honour for yourself.

Self love doesn’t need to be hard to move into. If you are unsure if a situation is unfolding in a way that is appropriate for you, simply ask yourself if it would be acceptable treatment for your best friend or a beloved child. If the answer is no, it is not acceptable for you either. Many of you have been conditioned to make decisions based on externals – on what will please others. What a faulty premise, because satisfaction can only come from within. It is impossible to assume responsibility for another’s emotions. It has been disempowering and distracting, to say the least, to try to live your life expression in a satisfying and predictable way while depending on the wild card of other people’s responses.

Again, love is the most transformative, empowered element there is. It is the fuel that will help you arrive at all of the adventures your soul seeks to experience. Allow it to be your first response for yourself and you will be so whole and nurtured that it will automatically become your first response to everything and everyone else in your life, too. ~Archangel Gabriel

What I like about The Voice Within is that it doesn’t have to have a specific label or identity. If you look around the new age/channeling community, you’ll see message after message that comes from angels, archangels, extraterrestrials and plenty of other sources, and the number of sources and channelers increases by the day.

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with this; it just isn’t for me. There are a few channeled sources I enthusiastically follow, but for the most part, I’ve turned my focus on other aspects of our spiritual evolution that I feel are equally worth our attention.

I don’t have anything against the plentiful channeled sources out there, and if we’ve learned anything, it’s that cultivating resistance to any concept will keep us too internally divided to find inner peace. I’ve simply taken a different turn, and like we’ve been encouraged to do, I take what resonates with me and let the rest be.

Cannabis oil is gathering an unstoppable momentum as a world class healer, and there is little or nothing Western Governments are going to be able to do stop it. Cases are popping up all over the world showing that cannabis oil has healed some very serious diseases, including anxiety disorders, epilepsy, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), cerebral palsy and cancer. Pay attention all day to how you feel, bringing up feelings of joy whenever any lower vibrational emotions come up. Be mindful of every word you utter and every thought that comes into your consciousness.

Some people may say that the pharmaceutical industry cannot be that bad. Unfortunately, it is. Fortunately, however, it is very easy for everyone to understand why this industry has such a detrimental effect on millions of human lives.

It is not about individual drugs or individual companies. It is about the principles – the laws – of the pharmaceutical ‘business with disease’. The most important of these laws can be summarized in the following way:

1. The pharmaceutical industry is not a ‘health industry’, but an ‘investment business’ that thrives on the continuation and expansion of diseases.

An individual’s view of health determinants is directly correlated to their sources and how they process information. Regardless of its accuracy, when something is repeated a sufficient number of times, people will start to believe it. The cancer and sunscreen industries have made it their mission to convince the world that sunlight is a primary cause of skin cancer, when it fact it has been shown to prevent it. In fact, considerable evidence shows that blocking the sun’s rays from reaching our skin with, for example sunscreen, significantly decreases our uptake of vitamin D levels, leading to higher mortality, critical illness, mental health disorders and cancer itself.

Materialism doesn’t lead to well-being, but altruism does.

So many of us strive so hard for material success that you might think there was a clear relationship between wealth and happiness. The media and our governments encourage us to believe this, since they need us to keep earning and spending to boost economic growth. From school onwards, we’re taught that long term well-being stems from achievement and economic prosperity – from ‘getting on’ or ‘making it’, accumulating more and more wealth, achievement and success.

Consequently, it comes as a shock for many people to learn that there is no straightforward relationship between wealth and well-being. Once our basic material needs are satisfied (i.e. once we’re assured of regular food and adequate shelter and a basic degree of financial security), wealth only has a negligible effect on well-being.
