Spiritual Significance of the Summer Solstice

We have had a series of extremely large celestial events in the last few weeks, starting with Solar Eclipse of May 20^th followed by the Lunar Eclipse of June 4^th and Venus Transit of June 6^th, only to be capped off with the solstice of June 20^th June

The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year (Northern Hemisphere). Symbolically, light and darkness represent soul and shadow, so now, with the Solstice, the light of the soul is shining its brightest over the darkness of the shadow. It is a portal opening of energy that overwhelms obstruction, blockages, and EGO.

A couple of days ago Rick and I went to one of the largest inactive volcanoes in the world, The Velles Caldera.  It is also where the head of the Jemez River starts.  I sat near the river, on a rock and tapped into the energy of the volcano and asked it to show me whatever I needed to know.

I seen the massive eruption of over a million years ago.  The lava spewing with huge chunks of rocks flying with it…  The passion of life that was out flowing from that intense eruption heated up my own body.

Then I heard Gaia say “I turned myself inside out for you.” (you being humanity, not just me.)  She expanded on what that meant to her and to us.

The explosion happened from deep within her core, and her core is now my home, literally.  The Mesa’s that surround the Jemez area were created from the core energy of Gaia.  The tops of the Mesa’s formed from the ash that lingered in the sky, bringing down the seeds of heaven with it and created the tuffs of rock that hold both the desire of Heaven and earth together.

HAPPY SOLSTICE: Today, the sun crosses the celestial equator heading south. The moment of crossing or "solstice" occurs at 7:09 pm EDT and marks the beginning of northern summer. This is the longest day and shortest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Meanwhile In the Southern Hemisphere, winter begins. Happy solstice!

CHINESE SPACE TRANSIT: China's space program took another leap forward this week when Chinese astronauts onboard the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft successfully docked with the Tiangong 1 space station. Not long after the docking, which occured on Monday, June 18th, the joined spacecraft passed directly in front of the sun over Xinzhou, China, where amateur astronomer Su Shaojie recorded the split-second transit:

"After the Shengzhou 9 successfully docked with Tiangong-1 at 14:07 Beijing time, I was happy to get this opportunity to take a picture of the two spaceship transiting the Sun," says Shaojie. "I used CalSky to predict the timing."
