According to leading scientists, the earth is around 4.5 billion years old. In contrast, it’s estimated that modern day humans have existed for around 50,000 years. Due to this discordance, I feel that the earth has a pulsating wisdom that we young and inexperienced humans can learn from. Nature has many lessons to teach if only we have the mind to listen.

How do you feeling complete and connected to the Earth and others? It takes effort, but it is worth it. We must bring our focus outside of ourselves to allow us to reach out to people and to the world around us in positive ways. Loving, laughing, giving ourselves to others, spending time with friends and those in need to taking care of the environment or a companion animal, all promote positive interaction. Here are 10 steps to help you get connected.

1. Nature and Earth

If you think of nature as a hostile force that is separate from yourself, you will go through life unnecessarily afraid and cut off from one of the great sources of spiritual nourishment. Whether you connect with nature on wilderness trips or lunch breaks in a city park, you can always slow down and observe the infinite variety of her ways. One way to connect with nature is through plants: gardening, collecting plants from the wild, growing cactuses and flowering bulbs, and having unusual and useful plants in and around the home can all help promote connectedness with nature. Plants can enrich your daily life, bring comfort and joy, and remind you that however you think of yourself, you are also part of the natural world.

Synchronicity: is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner [to the observer]. To count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.

If you believe synchronicity is simply coincidence, then you haven’t read any of the top experts in the field. The famous psychotherapist Carl Gustav Jung coined the term synchronicity in the 1920s to reference the alignment of universal forces with a person’s experiences.

These forces have been sought out for centuries in many spiritual traditions as a means of aligning with the “flow.” This usually takes years of disciplined meditation, study, ritual or by other means to navigate this journey toward a harmonic “individuation.” To some the search is inward for the self, yet for others it’s an outward search for spirituality.

Energy is one of the things the world, in general, cannot do without. It is an essential commodity and almost everything we do in and out of our homes depends on it.

Especially in Africa, energy generation had become one of the biggest challenges for governments and some countries are currently in total energy crisis as they have woefully failed to find a lasting solution to the problem.

But as the majority of people living everywhere in the world are in favor of green energy generation, the small group of people having control of the world are interested in energy generation that only brings disasters and destruction to the world.

Apart from fossil fuel, which burns and releases harmful and dangerous chemical reactions into the atmosphere, energy produced from nuclear has proved even more dangerous and destructive.

I could trace my 30 years of investigative reporting as one long project emanating from what people are supposed to think.

What they’re supposed to think about nuclear weapons, pesticides, medical drugs, vaccines, presidential elections, major media, the CIA, US foreign policy, mega-corporations, brain research, collectivism, surveillance, psychiatry, immigration…

In each case, there are a set of messages broadcast to the population. These messages are projected to replace what people would think on their own, if left to their own devices.

And in many cases, these messages have the same underlying theme: feel unlimited sympathy.

There is a deep sickness beginning to take hold of the American psyche that threatens to undermine the already shaken stability of the lives of everyone in this country. 

It appears that America is coming apart at the seams. Routine school shootings, the reemergence of overt racism, anti-government paranoia on the rise, exaggerated threats of germs and terrorists lurking around every corner, government indifference to the hollowing out of the middle class, military tactics employed by officers of the peace—signs of societal disintegration are everywhere. And now we have witnessed the murder of two journalists on live TV and must endure the relentless exploitative media coverage that inevitably follows. While it is true that there always will be social unrest and all manner of cultural crises, the current state of affairs strikes many as beyond the ordinary—and I must cautiously cast my vote in agreement.

In a recent conversation, a dear friend for many years asked me, “I wonder why it is that people need to hold this special view of what is sacred… why some things are sacred and others aren’t.” This is fascinating inquiry, one that invokes a number of subjects, such as the nature of healing, activism, our working definition of spirituality, and our emotional lives — all of which I hope to touch on here.

Sacred Space is time and space we set aside, or which spontaneously arises, to experience a depth, richness, and sense of meaning that usually escapes us in fast-paced everyday life when we are not as connected as we could be with our body, intuition, good thinking, compassion and empathy, and other emotions.

Dear Ones, resistance cannot get you where you wish to be. You cannot resist your way into healing. You cannot resist your way into growth. You cannot resist your way into joy. You cannot resist your way into unity. You certainly cannot resist your way into love. You might consider resistance as the operation system of fear.

Flow is supported and empowered movement. Healing is a flow. Growth is a flow. Unity is a flow of connection. Flow is the operation system of love, which brings all of those things.

It is the tug of war within yourselves between resistance and flow that is causing so much stress for so many. Isn’t it time? Isn’t it time to surrender to love? From there all things are possible. ~Archangel Gabriel
