Day 108: Discover Your Truth

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 17:40

DISCOVER YOUR TRUTH Today is a grand day, one of great celebration, for you have chosen to be alive on planet Earth! The time has come to look closely at every belief you hold to be true. Most beliefs were inhaled on blind faith, never once questioning the authority of those who proclaimed these truths. The Truth is ever-present in the world around you. There is much you can learn by observing Nature in action, for Nature is a reflection of the Creator.

All is perfectly balanced and in harmony when there is no human intervention. Have you studied the symbiosis between plants, animals and landscape? Every birth, every new sprout unto itself is a miracle. You also are given the ability to sprout and grow when given the proper circumstances. The ability to go inside and to connect with your Higher Self and Source is within your grasp. It is your intuition, that inner knowing, that is your connection.

5 Powerful Steps to Emotional Healing

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 14:56

by Frank M. Wanderer| In the course of our life, we have collected a number of emotional and psychological trauma in conflicts with other people. These emotional and psychological traumas are parts of our past, and they are often unconscious. Their effects are, however, real: usually these emotional and psychological traumas are in the background of the fluctuation of our emotions, negative moods and the–often apparently unexplainable–emotional outbursts. These moods may easily take control over our behavior, inveigling us into actions that we later regret or are ashamed of. Is it possible to heal these emotional and psychological traumas, and if yes, how? We are able to cure the psychological traumas through a process of five steps.

Step 1: Understanding

In the process of healing, the first step is the most important, since understanding is essential for a real change. During our life, we often tell others–or ourselves–that, ”I know how I should behave, but I cannot do it. I know what is right, and I still do something else again and again. I am simply unable to change.” The point is that it is in itself not sufficient to know how to behave properly. Knowledge and real comprehension are two different things. For a real change, thorough comprehension is required.

The #1 Killer is the Most Preventable yet Most Expensive to Treat Condition

Marco Torres, Prevent Disease
Waking Times

The number one killer and most preventable disease also happens to be the most expensive health condition according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Heart disease, once an illness of the rich, is the number one killer in the United States and it’s affecting more and more people in poor countries around the world.

The result is that people are dying young — in their most productive economic years and costs to help manage the disease have skyrocketed.

Treating people with cardiovascular disease results in costs for each U.S. state that range from $411 million to $26 billion yearly, according to the CDC report. In addition, the costs of absenteeism (days of lost work) due to cardiovascular disease fall between $23 million and $1.3 billion for each state yearly, the report said.

A ‘Crap’ Day?

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 10:20

How many times do you catch yourself whining about your growth process?  “It’s too hard”, “When will it stop”, “I wanna go home”, “This is such B.S.” and (my all-time favorite) “Stop telling me to be light.  I feel like crap!  I’m tired of this and nothing you can say will make me feel better”.   My beloved, I know it is challenging!  I have been watching every step you have taken from the beginning of time itself.  However, like a child who is learning to walk, if the parent jumped in every single time he/she wobbled, the process would be prolonged.  Do you see now how this works?  Rest assured that, even on your ‘crap’ days, I am right there with and will never forsake you. ~ Creator

Woman Quits Job To Build Sustainable Bamboo Homes In Bali

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 10:17

Elora Hardy left a successful career in the NY fashion scene to build bamboo houses in Indonesia. The Bali resident and her team have spent the last 5 years revolutionizing bamboo construction in the belief that it is an underused but ideal renewable resource. Hardy uses boron, which occurs naturally in nature, to treat the bamboo and make it indigestible to insects.

Hardy was inspired by her father, who “chose bamboo for all of the buildings on campus, because he saw it as a promise,” she explains in her TED talk. “It’s a promise to the kids. It’s one sustainable material that they will not run out of. And when I first saw these structures under construction about six years ago, I just thought, this makes perfect sense… Why hasn’t this happened sooner, and what can we do with it next?”

Here’s How Brazilian Wasp Venom Destroys Cancer Cells

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 10:17

Nature is full of medicine, and with a staggering 50 percent of us likely to receve a cancer diagnosis within our lifetimes, it’s time to start paying more attention to the healing potential of the natural world. For example, did you know that 25 percent of the active ingredients in cancer drugs are found only in the Amazon? This is despite the fact that only 10 percent of plants in this rainforest have been studied for their medicinal properties.

And it’s not only plants that are making noise when it comes to a potential cancer treatment. A new study from a team of researchers at the University of Brazil has found that a toxin contained within the sting of a wasp kills cancer cells without harming any of the healthy ones. This is similar to a little-known Chinese herb that was found to kill off cancer cells at a rate of 12,000 cancer cells for every healthy cell. Bee venom, on the other hand, has been found to destroy the HIV virus.

Self-Healing: Proof It Can Work & 5 Steps To Start Doing It Successfully

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 09:44

For the longest time I had tunnel vision and expected life to be a certain way. I studied my failure until I lost sight of my successes. I crafted limiting beliefs and shielded myself from love and happiness by refusing to put myself out there. And as I did all this, I sat back and wondered why my life was not working.

Obviously, I was very lost.

But it was not until 2012, when our family was hit with multiple disorders, that my stubborn habits led me into another internal argument. I remember looking at myself in the mirror that evening and hearing a voice in my head say, “Ana, you are the enemy – your enemy.” I had a strong urge to start searching for a practical tool to turn things around. That’s when I started heavily studying all the different self-healing modalities I could find, taking practitioner courses, teacher courses, and running meditations and workshops. The more I dug, the deeper the levels of truth I was able to uncover, and was then able to start helping others do the same.

Non-Duality and Presence: Guidelines for Increasing Awareness

Submitted by Galactic Free Press on Fri, 09/04/2015 - 09:42

“The gap is your connection to the field of pure potentiality. It is that state of pure awareness, that silent space between thoughts, that inner stillness that connects you to (your) true power.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Give Up. Let Go. Repent. Stop fighting. Just Be.

There are many teachings; religious or otherwise that we may have some connection with in our lives for the simple reason that – at some time or another – we have had a charged experience in relation to that set of teachings. In relation to them, we have had an ‘aha!’ moment where our perception finally melted and we experienced true being.

Sogyal Rinpoche calls it the true nature of mind, Eckhart Tolle the ‘Now’. In a new teaching (to me anyway) the notion of non-duality can help us, in a few simple steps, to remember that perfection is an illusion, and that we are simply ‘reality’ experiencing or exploring itself.

As Eckhart Tolle says in his short autobiography in the Power of Now, the first trickles or gaps in his perception, were when he thought a thought along the lines of, ‘I just can’t live with myself any longer.’ The idea that there is a separate ‘I’ to ‘my-self’ brings about the realization that we live within this world of separation, and that actually, we are not separate from our experience at all.
